Update for Tile Plates

Sorry this took forever for me to get done life got in the way for a few weeks and I had other projects I was working on


(New bricks are in red)

Change-Log;

• Added 1x5F Tile
• 1x7F Tile
• 1x9F Tile
• 1x10F Tile
• 3x4F Tile
• Also renamed some icons, shouldn't effect loading these on an old save

Links are in op to where you can download these, the Blockland Glass link will probably not be updated for a few hours after this post

I just checked on Unga Bunga's server while I was there and he has the original tile plates from Emil and it doesn't have the 3x5. That sounds useful though I might add.

Would a 1x5, 1x9, and 1x10 be nice too?

I've been looking around through the archives and different forum topics and they all seem to be the V5 version of medieval misc that doesn't have the furnace or the tanning rack like this pack from pass had.

Pass created two topics with that pack of 31 but both links are dead.

I never used leets but these can be used for floors, it's just a re-textured version of this pack of emils;

Emil's Tile Plates Remastered

Warning: Before I say anything this pack overwrites Emil's tile plates, but it's supposed to do that because I want this to replace Emil's original pack.

As said multiple times already, this pack was originally created by Emil and edited and remastered by me, RallyBlock to what it is now.
The changes I made to Emil's bricks were fixing the bottom textures to have the same rotation on all bricks and fixing the side textures to a more default look.



Tile plates contain the same bricks that Emil's pack contained just textured differently to fix any flaws that the old pack had.



Seamless Tiles was originally going to go with Tile Plates, but were removed and made standalone due to the pack being to big with the two together and players can have a choice of one or the other this way or both.

I just want to say again, this pack was originally made by Emil I'm not trying to take his thunder or anything I just use this pack quite often and have always
wanted to fix things inside the pack. I haven't asked Emil if I could do this but I hope if hes still around or comes back he will be cool with it.

Tile Plates will load perfectly fine on builds that already contain Emils pack, I didn't mess with the way Emil had these orientated just fixed texture issues and added more to the pack.

I didn't see a way to do it, all I could edit were the cloud layers and the speed of the clouds.

Made this out of boredom and just wanted to mess with environments since I really haven't that much.


The clouds move and the enviroment settings were messed with to have more of a glow.

you can modify the brick textures like brickSide to have a more shiny appearance, maybe that's what you saw.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this little building tutorial but I guess I'll find out.

There is a little trick to get a brick to turn its rendering off without the light source being effected, I've noticed that a lot of people actually don't know about this trick so I figured I'd post it.

Many people know that if you turn off rendering on a brick the light source on the brick will disappear with it, as previewed;


So people usually just give it the fully transparent color, which worked before shaders but now you can see them somewhat easily;
(usually even easier then the previews if you use different skybox lighting but I was on DragonoidSlayers Steampunk and couldn't change it.)


So if you just do one more step and give that brick an fx after you give it the completely transparent color it should totally turn its rendering off without effecting the light source as previewed;


Doing it this way completely makes sure that players will not see the brick that's emitting light, which is great for dynamic lighting.
Feel free to keep doing this your own way, I just thought I'd share.
