No. This is incorrect. I've done this around 3-4 times and it takes roughly 10-15 minutes.

If you want to be able to start it up I can help. You only need 2 things.

Jumper cables, & carpeted floors.

What you need to do is pop your hood and attach the cables properly, then go to your seat and rub your feet against the carpeted floors. This builds static electricity and will help jump start your car. After around 10-15 minutes of rubbing your feet (with socks on) on the carpet, attach the other end of the cables to your ears. Immediately turn the key and step on the gas and your car should start normally. Make sure to put the black cable on LAST. Now remove the cables the same way you put them on, step out of your car, and take them off your car battery, close your hood, and you should be all set to drive home.
