Modification Help / Minimum Res. size for ground textures?

I am just wondering if there is a minimum required size for ground textures? I tried using 176x176 (Ik thats odd) for a ground texture and they came out white, I may have just renamed it wrong or put something in the script wrong but I wondered if its because of the texture size.

Help / Is there any way to increase memory on a server?

I believe right now a server can use 1.67gb, would there be a way that Badspot could increase it? Doss this have to do with the game engine or something entirely different? Would there be better benefits compared to only having 1.67gb? I am thinking we could probably have more physics vehicles, exploding bricks, and on top having a pretty high brick count, stuff similar to that.

General Discussion / Blockland LLC or Step 1 Games LLC?

I understand Wikipedia can be (VERY) misleading sometimes. I went to check on the BL Wikipedia since it got thrashed a couple days ago and I see the publisher is no longer Blockland LLC but Step 1 Games LLC. Did Badspot rename the company or is this just wrong? If its wrong then who the hell keeps changing stuff on the wiki?

Side note: I prefer Blockland LLC.

I never understood why they didnt. Is it too large to draw or something? (However baseplates can be fakekilled still)

Its just that, you go to explode something and everything explodes but the pesky baseplates, they ruin the whole effect of what you are trying to do. If it has to do with impacting FPS im almost sure hardware nowadays can take it.

This isn't one of those silly discussions about "IT SHOULDN'T BE ON STEAM CUZ LITTLE CHILDREN WILL COME" but rather two or a couple more questions. (Hoped to get answered by Badspot)

1. Will customers who purchase Blockland through steam recieve keys (I believe so)? How will they get a key, will steam redirect the customer to a page that will open in their browser to get the key (not very efficient IMO), or is there some way Steam offers its own key generator?

2. How will customers who purchase Blokland through steam get their email registered incase they ever forget their key? Will it somehow use the email the steam account is associated with?

General Discussion / Is this normal for the Trust System?

I've been starting to find these couple of things weird with the trust

1. You and your friend both have Full Trust, your friend places a brick and he or you name it something such as Block1. You go to events to start eventing stuff on "Block1" and the little box "NAMEDBRICK" doesn't show up.

2. Again, both you and your friend have full trust. Your friend places a brick and you or your friend name it something such as Door. YOU place a new brick that will serve as a button for "Door" but when you look in the "NAMEDBRICK" category the brick "Door" won't come up because its your friends.

I don't understand why it works like this, full trust should give you everything. You can still create other events in their bricks except for everythjng in the "NAMEDBRICK" category. This is really frustrating when building together with someone and then later on when you want to event something your friend placed you need to delete it and replace it yourself (and then still your friend won't be able to edit stuff such as NAMEDBRICK box). Anyone know why it works like this?

General Discussion / Are files constantly getting stuck/stopping?

I'm not sure if this is just me downloading files, but whether its even from the launcher or when joining servers it seems that sometimes files just stop/get stuck randomly. The files on the launcher seem to stop around when there are only 1 or 2 files left also. I exit the launcher and Blockland doesn't even go to download those 2 files but instead just load up the game.

The other main problem is how files get stuck when joining games, I said this above but this has also happened when someone tried joining my server. I am not sure if this is just me but I think others have had this problem also.

Modification Help / Anyway to place bricks in midair?

I was just wondering if its possible to bypass the rule where you all bricks need to be connected from the bottom. Could this be edited by a simple script or its in the game engine or something?
