General Discussion / Like this video? (Nobots Death Race)
« on: July 02, 2011, 10:32:10 AM »
I would really enjoy if you watched my video. (This topic is in somewhat way shape or form related to blockland.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShmoTeSdVjQ

Please watch it in 720p or 1080p,

Remember to like and comment if you want, I would hope that this video makes it to the main blockland.us website to represent the different types of games blockland has to offer and to show that it is worth your hard earned $20.

Enjoy, remember to bring popcorn.

General Discussion / Does Blockland work for Mac os x 10.6
« on: June 18, 2011, 11:16:52 AM »
10.6 is Snow Leopard. I noticed that BL hasn't been updated since 2009 and I think that was when Mac os x 10.5 came out, so if I get BL on a new mac running 10.6 will it be able to work? I do not want to hear pathetic comments like "Macs sucks for gaming, windows is better" thats a silly rumor because I hear people saying that the exact same way everywhere. I just want my question resolved.

Help / How to add doors in a game
« on: May 22, 2011, 03:10:40 PM »
I recently downloaded some Doors off from RTB. I made sure they are enabled on both the RTB Mod manager and the add-ons manager when you click "Start a game". Although When I go to my bricks it is not there, I hit B to open up the brick manager and I dont see any doors either. On youtube the doors are in a category called JVS but that category isnt there. Any help?

If you help me solve this problem I will give you this cookie  :cookie:

Suggestions & Requests / Blockland Server Updates
« on: April 20, 2011, 08:43:27 AM »
It's starting to get pretty annoying when you need to scroll down that bar while looking for a certain server you or your friends made, or even just looking for a good game to play. Mr. Badspot should add two new features:

A. Search (He can make the title of the game count as the tags)

B. Favorites Tab (Add a check near server spots, when you click on the check it gets added to your favorites. Your favorites can be accessed in-game or when searching through the servers)

It isn't a HUGE idea which is what makes it simple and easy to do. (For Mr. Badspot that is)

P.S. Don't ask me why I call Badspot Mr. Badspot.

No, I had purchased it because of my sister. Thats not the only thing I use it for, if it was the id get some cheap program. My sis needed it for one of her classes and I might learn how to use it as well.

General Discussion / Re: Can Blockland's rendering engine be expanded?
« on: April 17, 2011, 09:42:59 AM »
Well ROBLOX recently got ambient occlusion and what they do is they only make the ambient occlusion load up if your computer can run it. Although Badspot could go further in and add like a depth option of how much ambient occlusion you can set, or how much your computer can take in.

Modification Help / Mesh Making (Exorting to files Blockland can read)
« on: April 16, 2011, 05:33:11 PM »
I have purchased Maya 3D from Autodesk (along with an old version of Autocad) and I was wondering if you can use Maya to make meshes for Blockland. If you can could you tell me what type of file I need to save it as and if there are any other requirements as to when you are editing or making the mesh on Maya for blockland?

Also, when using Map2Dif, you just need to drag your correct file the program can read on top of the Map2Dif icon correct? Please correct me if im wrong. (Grammar mistakes as well lol)
