General Discussion / Re: Blockland is 75% off?
« on: August 10, 2013, 11:01:23 PM »
1% off  :cookieMonster:
that is loving dumb

badspot should just up the price to $40 and make it "50% off" or maybe at most 25% off
i don't see why this game should be so cheap when it has so much creative enabling oozing out of it.
Best ways to troll lol.

Those rails reminded me of the good ol' days when I used to play Ratchet and Clank.

General Discussion / Re: v22 really soon?
« on: August 09, 2013, 10:36:12 AM »
If anything, V22 should be released after Blockland gets greenlit (that is, if Blockland even gets greenlit). If it doesn't then I guess Badpsot will just release V22 a short time after. I'm almost sure he's been working on something, some little brats (the hackers) shouldn't cause him to completely stop development so I'm positive he has something for us.

Can't you trace who's DDOSing you espicially since the master server is running linux? I think there's a command in the terminal that shows what IPs are sending data, now there will be hundreds without Badspot shutting down Blockland and other stuff etc.

(Of course the guy could be under a proxy server but maybe they aren't)

Lol, nice!

Compared to other games, blockland is really a rather simple game. The main addition/pros of this game is the addon/mod support, almost every single part of the game is moddable, that's really it, at least in my perspective.

Yes.
Yes, it is.
So why are you using that crap?
I don't think you have learned at all, once again, just because one thing doesn't work doesn't mean you just scrap/trash it out unless its something that you need heavily on a day to day basis, then go ahead. That's like saying you are going to switch to OS X just because Audacity doesn't work well with your current OS.

This.

This is why I love admire you.
What? Was that a joke? (Ephi, not you)

Even if we don't get greenlit we need a new trailer, our best ones are from 2010-2011? They have interiors and terrains, which is perfectly fine since its a fan made trailer and not from Badspot but it also doesn't have our new shaders/shadows update. We should include the day changing in the trailer and then whatever else Blockland (gamemodes such as Speedkart, rising lava, TDMs, and then some cool builds like Seattle City, Titanic etc)

I really love the second image, the rain and the light outside look awesome.

Rub, can you seriously stop talking about Kaphost? You're basically begging Kalphiter to come here and start a fight. Just stick to your own business without causing so many problems.
Yeah those two are always fighting, I wonder what would happen to them if Blockland had the same amount of hosting solutions that a game such as Minecraft has.

General Discussion / Re: Zapk's Rising Lava

Professor Layton and Shiro are using Computermix's floating hack.
Hold on a sec, this is OffTopic but his hack works by using C++ right? Couldn't Badspt add restrictions or better yet a blacklist/whitelist (whichever is better) for C++ functions in the game (would this mean he would have to implement c++ in the game as well)?

I would love to see sort of dynamic maps, maps where you can activate traps on others (etc).

I also think the Lighthouse of Alexandria map (edited a bit to reach to the top) would be pretty fun, but again it's only one building/tower which may make it boring for other players.

General Discussion / Re: Purchasing a key for a friend, question
« on: July 31, 2013, 11:07:35 AM »
I was just thinking about this.
If you're willing to buy the game for someone you shouldn't need to worry about them stealing your credit info o-o
Id rather put my own security first, a friend is a friend, not a family member. I don't know if he has others who share his computer, I don't know whether or not he stays signed into email. I don't know who else uses the computer, whether they can be nice or evil.

Help / Re: What would be a cheap video card that would run shaders?

AMD 6670 is pretty good I believe, this card is $70 though.
