And I feel like closing my eyes helps, but I sincerely doubt that's anything other than psychological assistance.
I am sure about the lying down part, though, because I heard about it in multiple places. Your lungs can be more inflated when you're either standing upright or lying down. In this case, lying down is better.

I do not listen to music in my pants. Taking them off is much better because when you're listening like that, the tone of any instrument is horribly dulled in my pants. Pants tend not to have such resonant qualities that the music continues to sound just as good in my pants.

Hmmm.
You know, I got a ton of old pieces off of eBay at one point (or is it Ebay? I think it is...) and absolutely adored them. At the time that I got them, they, combined with the Legos I had before, weighed almost as much as I did.
Newer sets can be OK, too, but they aren't really as good. I think the economic situation presses just as hard on Lego as anything else, but Lego doesn't really show it, except for a little downgrading and, of course, making idiotic sets from stupid TV shows etc.
