this song had to be reuploaded and tweaked 6 times until it would actually work, and i still fear its going to be taken down tomorrow
i had to add white noise very quietly in the background, and slight pitch shifting has only worked once on a previous song
if anyone else has to deal with this stuff, what do you do?

Correct me if I forget something up, I haven't had a math class in a bit
tan(theta) will yield the ratio of opposite to adjacent. You have adjacent and want opposite. In order to find the opposite, x being your horizontal distance, your formula will just be x * tan(theta). This will be adjacent * opposite / adjacent, leaving you with the opposite side as your vertical component.
Does that make sense?

I wouldn't normally give people this, but it's an odd form of question and I get why you're confused.

I gave myself 8 and a half hours to sleep and slept for maybe 4 or 5 hours. Woke up several times during the night. I hate this.

Hats are a bit loud. The dual(?) guitar melodies conflict at some points. Try to make the bass/lower tones more mono. Quiet down (and maybe do a wide bandpass on) the pads. Vary your volume levels a bit more and consider making some parts have more reverb and space; right now, everything seems sort of stacked on top of each other.

Overall though this is extremely well-made. The composition is top notch. Can't wait to hear the finished version. :)

I did try to do a bit of mastering, particularly with the hats. I think I also got a bit more in terms of dynamic range and I did address reverb a bit.
Finished version will be on soundcloud soon. I'm going to present it in class tomorrow and then see if my professor has any final suggestions, so it should be up tomorrow or the day after.

One of the things that I really enjoyed about Violence was that one synth with the scrubby attack. It gives it this really nice rhythmic offset.
Congratulations on getting that repost from Hybrid Trap
