Pokecapn is a dude from something awful who makes lets plays with 3 or so of his friends. They're loving great, and he needs more awareness.

Pokecapn's Crew
Pokecapn himself. He's a pretty awesome guy and makes alot of refrences to stuff, as well as being pretty funny to listen to. He's usually the one playing the games, and he knows how to react. Alot of his reactions make the episodes fantastic.
Medibot (Pretty funny guy. For those of you that follow tvtropes, He's basicly the cloud cookoolander.
Mynameiskaz (Pretty smart guy. Funny to listen to and has the best laugh ever.)
Kung fu jesus (Pretty great guy. Gets loving wasted throught a few mario party games.)

All of his lps are done blind, and a few have extra videos to show more skilled runs throught the levels.
Well, all of them BUT mario party. Pokecapn's played all of them but mario party 9, which also happens to be the one that changes the entire formula around. hilarity ensues? Maybe.

As has Kung Fu Jesus. He's currently got a let's play of final fantasy 13.5 going on. He also did GOD HAND but sadly it's not available in full on youtube just yet. He did play GOD HAND in Stupid Games Done For Money, A charity stream they ran for better recording equipment.

Modification Help / Playertype_MetalBlockhead ANIMATOR FOUND

It's a robotic version of the blockhead as a playertype. Well, it will be. This project has hit a major snag- Neither me or Filipe have no clue how to animate!

You can help quite simply.. If you have animation knowledge, contact filipe on steam or via a pm on these forums. The basic concept for the animations is that they're robotic and they have less frames. all movements are jittery and almost sprite like. Therefore it really isnt hard to animate. As you can see the model is set up with all of the blockhead's original bones, which all have the same names.

My defence is impregnable, my style is impetuous!

I had an idea for a weapon,

1 chargable attack (Hold click), 1 punch combo (Spam click), blocking (A toggle with l, slows you down when you block and can be broken) and a kick that launches players.(Jet)
blocking is broken by pressing the kick and the punch keys at the same time.

What I'd need is a scripter and a modeller. Really i'm just the ideas guy.

Any takers? Suggestions? critique?

RED RACEWAY IS A RACETRACK UTALIZING THE UNIQUE DRIVING HABITS OF FILIPE'S SPEEDKARTS, AND THE MODULAR TERRAIN BRICKS.
THIS MEANS A FEW THINGS- YOU MUST BRAKE ON CORNERS, AND IF YOU DO NOT, YOU WILL FLIP THE forget OUT. THIS ADDS CHALLENGE TO THE RACEWAY, BECAUSE IT HAS NO ITEMS.
IN AN INTERESTING TWIST OF FATE, THE SPEEDKARTS LIKE TO GET STUCK IF THEY HIT JUST ONE OBSTACLE. THIS MEANS YOU MUST DRIVE CAREFULLY AND USE THE WIDENESS OF THE TRACK TO YOUR ADVANTAGE WHILE RETAINING SPEED. NOW ONTO THE PICTURES, FEATURING THE UNIQUE BUILDING STYLE.

A few notes- While this is a joke build, it actually functions suprisingly well as a racetrack. The speedkarts offer a unique challenge and none of the spam is on the actual track, forcing you to stick to the floors that are not spammified. It works wonders.

General Discussion / We need more Dedicated 'Block parties'

I love badspot's block party. Lots of people do. it's a fun server and you get to meet lots of new people.

But what if we hosted a block party that's dedicated, with jvs doors, phydoors, and basicly a ton of .blb addons for people to use? Maybe a few vehicles too, like a basic helicopter, the stunt plane and the biplane.

I mean, the terrainbuildrules script badspot uses is publicly available, and I havent seen a good terrain build in ages.

as long as we have a few moderators on hand, to delete the stuffty builds that break the continuity or are just spam (vehicle and item spawns on a single red plate, etc), as well as someone to place the beginning rules area. Lots of really creative builds are made on badspot's block party, and with a few basic addons, and .blbs for advanced building, people could get even more creative.

(For clarification, I cannot host dedicated. I'd love to do this, but I cannot. Someone who's running one of kalph's servers could host it, even.)

What do you think, guys? Yay/Nay?

CTF_Icicle

A unit sits in his new spawn area.

Just outside the spawn, a sniper tower waits.

The new terrain, adding much to the build.

The old warehouse has been phased out in favor of a new construct.

The old fort stands alone.

I built this over a year ago. Since then it's had many iterations, but i'm happy to call this one finshed.
Includes-

3 simple classes

The chaser, armed with a shotgun and a pistol, who can press jet to sprint. The loneshot, Armed with a invisibility watch, a single c4, and a sport rifle. He has the lowest health, capped at 75 and does not sprint. The bouncer, Who has the highest health (150) and is armed with a light mg and a pepperbox.

Two completely identical bases
Teamwork based. It's actually really difficult to cap with only one guy.

Funinabox
The Titanium
Coniel07 (or something like that. Pretty stuff with names.)
And all the players on the server for balance suggestions.

The jeep has to be the best vehicle in the game. It handles smoothly, rarely gets stuck in bricks or terrain and has an awesome model.

The issue is that it's got 8 or something seats.

What i'm proposing-

Edit of the default jeep's model to have one seat
Keep the same collision model.

Scripting shouldnt be an issue. If it proves to be I can script and package it for you.

Could anyone do this?

Shrouded Truth is a story about a man named Mark Taylor. He works for a secret organization to protect blockland from evil threats, server invasion, and script kiddies. Formed after the terrorist attack on beta city, they strive to do whatever it takes to defend blockland.

You see, in this strange world blockland isn't so much a game and is actually a civilisation of blockos. addons are codenames for technological advances, (events, new bricks to build houses with, etc etc.)
most addons are given out for free and owners of "servers" (towns, areas) allow specific ones to enter.
But what's happen if someone snuck in, like the secret organization have been doing for years, to fight crime.

At the moment, Mark is heading in a van to the base of the secret organization.

Mark will do various missions and tasks for the secret organization. This ranges from stealth to all out brawling, as well as getting information out of people.

You guys will suggest things to guide him along the way. But controlling one guy would be boring right?

I've recently started to play music in a seperate window while playing blockland to add to it. It works really well!

for building, I'd use the jet set radio future soundtrack.
