Valve let these guys back on Steam after the death threats to Gaben? Wow.

Thanks, I've been looking at the G4 since I know that the ROMs are fairly clean. I'm not entirely convinced though because the graphics chip is quite a step down from what my S4 has.
What do you think of the Huawei P8? It's about $40 more than the G4 ($250 v $210), has an extra gig of RAM, the GPU is about twice as fast and it's a little more dainty. OTOH the battery is weaker and I don't know how bad Huawei are with crapware.
EDIT: forget it, just ordered the G4, should be here sometime next week. Thanks for the help, guys.

Any of you guys mind recommending me a new phone? I managed to fry the USB port on my Galaxy S4+ by handling it with wet hands, and right now I'm stuck on my old S3 with a cracked screen. I've been eyeing an S5 Neo since it has everything I want in a phone (SD card slot, replacable battery, off-screen navigation buttons, AMOLED display, also it's waterproof), but I'm a bit wary of Samsungs software because of how painfully slow my S4 was (my S3 legit feels faster) so it'd be cool if I could get some other suggestions.
Stuff I'm looking for:
- SD card slot (unless the phone has 32 gigs of storage or more)
- Off-screen navigation buttons, but might be able to get used to on-screen if the pickings are too slim
- 1080p screen (would like OLED, but sadly only Samsung seems to use it)
- No, or at least easily removable, bloatware. Either that or good Cyanogenmod support.
Max budget is about 3000SEK or $300-ish

The entire setup.
Drop the pointless CPU cooler and get an i3 instead of the Pentium: http://goo.gl/wVIuY0. Also, get an RX 470 instead of the 380: http://goo.gl/l3Q0kl

I have one I got a year or two ago at Savers that I haven't been able to use yet because apparently oldschool mouse/keyboard connectors aren't what the kids are into these days. I'm hoping to be able to use it when I get my rig together. It fits perfectly with my '99 theme. The keyboard is made by Mouse Systems which is a kind of obscure company that was bought by a bigger company and hasn't really done much since. I got the keyboard because it looks comfy as forget and I had been hearing good things about mechanicals. I took off all the keycaps to clean it and haven't finished putting them back on since, so it got crud back in between the keys, oh well.
FIY that's not actually a mechanical keyboard, it uses sliders over rubber domes. Still a decent board though.

be prepared to have your socks blown off with next to no overclocking headroom if you get an rx480, not saying thats bad but coming from a 960 i was a little let down with that i couldnt oc
my 470 (literally a cut down 480) cant go above the factory overclock at all. 1225mhz on core and 1750mhz on memory
also do you plan to upgrade to zen or wait for something like kabylake
edit:oops doublepost
No overclock at all? That doesn't sound right to me. I know the RX 480 isn't a great overclocker, but 50-ish MHz should be doable at least. I think WattMan is a little buggy, so that might be causing your poor OCing.
Not really planning on upgrading the CPU yet since the 2500k is good enough for me, though when it happens I'm hoping to go for either Zen or Zen+.

Nah, I need a video card that supports FreeSync 'cause of my monitor plus AMD has better driver support for their older GPUs

Storage is 2 Crucial MX100's in RAID0, CPU overclocked to 4.5 GHz. Planning on upgrading to an RX480 sometime.

Go into the BIOS and look for a setting called 'Wake on LAN' or something similar and disable it if it's enabled. You could also try unhooking the power button in case it's shorted or something.

tbh I don't really see what's wrong with this image other than the questionable setting.
Anyone wanna tell me what's wrong in this image if anything?
It's a Pokemon:

If you're not going to overclock there's no point in getting a K-series CPU, an i5-4460 is $50 less and only slightly slower: https://goo.gl/0K0I3M
Also, the power supply is not very good, this is only $12 more and much better: https://goo.gl/SsAoaV
If you can afford it, I'd also recommend getting a boot SSD, it really makes a HUGE difference in terms of how the computer feels: https://goo.gl/DJPU98
