EDIT: Since people are posting pictures of their computers, I might as well post some of that "retro" Pentium II-400 I talked about a few pages ago. Since then, I've doubled the RAM to 512 Mb and installed the English version of Windows 98SE, along with some modifications.
The case isn't that great, but hey, it was given to me for free.
Also, what's cable management?

And is it better to have a i5 dual core at 2.4GHz running 1 program or a i7 Quad Core at 2.2GHz running 1 program?Depends on what programs you intend to use. Those that supports multithreading will run better on the i7, while those that don't may or may not. I can't really give a complete answer, since the i7 has a larger cache than the i5.

I have a program that monitors them to and there were 4 cores it was monitoring.
Here is EXACTLY what I have.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz

If you look in the console.log, you can see that the game searches for a 3dfx Voodoo2 on startup. The Voodoo2 was a common 3D-accelerator when TGE was developed.

SI/metrics, because imperial is handicapped. Instead of simply using prefixes with a multiplier of 10, they use several different units with completely different ratios. Converting between them is painfully difficult.
