If 20 or so dialogue boxes with 15 max words is "too much" i want to see you play Morrowind
Mario 64 had more dialogue anyways. Dialogue every boss fight, whenever you unlock a door, signs, toads...
Super Mario Galaxy is better than Mario 64, its just your handicapped nostalgia vision judging the game for not being a part of your childhood. Mario galaxy has better graphics, better controls, an actual loving story besides Bowser only kidnapping the princess and sitting on his ass in his planet fortress waiting for his eventual demise and powerups. If we look at Galaxy 2, the addition of Yoshi and some more powerups into the mix makes the game even better.
Donkey Kong Country Returns?
Made way after Donkey Kong 64
Not everyone can afford a great gaming computer, so we just go to consoles because they are cheaper.
Beachbum is right. In the main Mario games all of the models' textures look really colorful. In Super Smash Bros Brawl, pretty much all of the models' textures look more realistic and thus, loses some of their colorfulness and looks more serious. But the texture change never bothered me that much, the game is still fun to play.
Bowser and Mario look roughly the same as they did Galaxy, Skyward Sword came out three years later.
I would be fine if Nintendo stopped making consoles and just became a 3rd party publisher. Nintendo either needs to keep up with the times and make better consoles or just release games. For the past few generations, Nintendo has been lagging behind the competition in terms of specs and things gamers are getting better on other consoles. For example, you can only get a 8 GB or 32 GB built-in hard drive for the Wii U. The PS3 already had bigger sized hard drives than the Wii U ever since they first launched the PS3.
They made big changes to accommodate a mildly more powerful system. The only "darker" thing I can think of was Link, and that's really just because they pulled him right out of Twilight Princess.
What the hell are you going on about?
Didn't you say the same thing about Blockland when Badspot mentioned Blood and Gore?
The "story" mode was quite fun as a side scrolling beat-em-up IMO.
I still prefer the standard party fighting mode though.
