despite how incomprehensible/oddly worded the post above me is, hes right about apple losing its touch after jobs passed. its a big company but nothing since his death has really caught headlines in any serious way

babies know they exist, react to stimuli, can recognize objects and faces and feel pain all in the first two weeks of life. That isn't sentience but it sure is loving close
no clue how you would know it was the day before birth but it'd be a horrible thing to do for multiple reasons. should never be illegal though
they aren't legally kids, so no, I don't advocate killing children

Well the line has to be drawn somewhere. Your body kills millions of parasitic bacteria every hour, have you no remorse about that?
Fetuses don't matter until they develop a nervous system. After that they might as well be their own individual organism
babies have been born extremely premature before and they've turned out fine. they probably have autism, but turn out fine
Nothing immoral about killing a bundle of cells with no individuality or sentience
