So, I decided I wanted to start add-on making, so I download the exporter for Milkshape3D from the Blockland website, but now I have no idea what to do next. Help, please?

Help / What is the exact purpose of signatures?

I never quite understood the exact purpose of signatures on the Blockland Forum. From looking at all these random users' signatures, they just have random quotes and images of memes, so from what I've seen, I've never seen an exact purpose in these things.

Of course, this must look like a simple question to you, but for me, signatures really confuse me. What does it all mean?

Games / Is Minecraft the right thing for me?

After seeing the intro video, fan-made YouTube videos and reading about it on Wikipedia, I'm now thinking of getting it.

What I do like, from what I've seen and read, is the character customisation, randomly generated landscapes, a neat-looking salvage/building scheme and strategy on surviving as long as possible. I can do pixel art for a neat-looking character, and I just think the survival scheme in the game looks like fun.

The only problem is that I can only play on friends' servers, which I need some kind of key to access. My sister, who plays Minecraft, told me about the whole friend key thing, and I do not like the sound of it.

Is Minecraft the right thing for me?

P.S. I'm not telling you my sister's username.

I just don't like people getting the wrong idea that the server is what the server used to be by entering while I'm typing the welcome message. I just want a save/load system for welcome messages so it can be done a lot quicker.

It would be a balloon tied to your Blockhead's waist, with the balloon behind his back. Pressing left click repeatedly would inflate it, and when fully inflated, it would automatically tie the balloon around your Blockhead's waist. Left click repeatedly to make your Blockhead flap its arms, making it hover and fly through the air. The balloon would burst if another player touches it. After it is burst, the player has to inflate it again.

Life is just turning into total hell for me here in the UK.

At my school, everyone is just a douche-bag. They all talk in this chav-like voice that really drives me nuts. All the male students ever talk about is CoD: Black Ops and all that stuff. All the females are just as worse. They just always take the mick out of all the males and they always go into a sudden panic whenever a male starts staring at them, regardless of what way.

Even out of school, things are such a total drag. I can't make any friends in this country, one of the reasons is because it's so hard to find someone who share the same interests as me. Another is because everyone is just a total chav. I can't join any groups or clubs because I can never find any that suit me. My mother actually told me that joining groups and clubs is a great way to make friends, but it's hard to believe she said that since she's 100% British.

Another thing that sucks about the UK is the lack of entertainment and exciting events compared to the USA. In the USA, you guys always get everything like conventions and the 4th of July. Nothing exciting ever happens in the UK.

Actually, it's not just me. My whole family is thinking about moving to the USA too. One of the many questions is which state.

So, which state?

Help / Isn't there a way to disable the god-damn event limit?

It's keeping me from building a lot of great stuff! Whenever I have an awesome-looking place in mind, just waiting to be built, it's always being ruined by realizing that there's a god-damn event limit. Surely there's a way to disable that crap?

Now that we have that adjustable plate add-on, I thought it would be possible to adjust the map using events. See, I'm trying to make a minigame place that involves adjusting the map's lighting and weather for each minigame.

Remember Snoopy? How he always imagined himself as a World War I flying ace? He would always climb on top of his doghouse and imagine himself flying through the air in a Sopwith Camel. And his doghouse actually flew through the air in the Peanuts TV cartoons.

I'm just hoping someone could make a flying doghouse just like Snoopy's.

General Discussion / I often feel more encouraged to build without RTB Add-ons...

There's this strange feeling I get. At servers like Badspot's Block Party, where there are no RTB add-ons, I often feel more encouraged to build. It's probably because of all the choice of bricks, sounds, weapons and vehicles I keep finding on other servers, and I'm not really into situations where there is a lot of choice. Anyone else get this strange feeling?

I'm wondering because I just find it better to build when there aren't millions of bricks. Due to my crappy computer, it lags every time the screen shows an area with a lot of bricks. And my parents are yelling at me to turn off Blockland because the massive lag I get gives THEM lag too.

I was hoping someone could make an Arwing as it looked like in Lylat Wars. (a.k.a Star Fox 64) The Arwing we have now is what it looked like from Starfox Adventures, and I'm not really fond of that design.

Also, can it be possible to improve the steering?
