I admit I actually watched Johnny Test, but it eventually started doing my head in.

I quite liked the idea of this kid acting as a test subject for his sisters who are lab professors, but what they actually did with that idea just didn't work.

Ever watch the previews of this show?
You can tell it's not gonna be funny or good.

Sorry, I just don't look at cartoons anymore, but I can already tell it's going to be a bad show.

Kid has a pet who can speak, they engage in all sorts of neighbourhood activities that are likely to have them punished, while they try not to expose the pet's ability to speak. Sounds familiar? The idea has been done to death.

Danial Ingram is apparently doing the music for Equestria Girls, and the storyboard artist/now director of Season Four (Jim Miller) also directed it. Sounds like it has the potential to be better than previously thought, however I personally think it's still stupid. We still don't know if it's a single movie project or not, though I assume we'll find out at SDCC.

I'm starting to get the feeling it will be. It'll start out with Sunset Shimmer bringing them to the humanoid-universe, and at the end they'll return to Equestria. Like the various book adventures, little non-canonical stories.

Didn't Meghan McCarthy once say that Sunset Shimmer will have no involvement in the plot whatsoever?
