I'm willing to bet that you would never have the balls to say something like this in public because you would immediately become a social pariah. You come off like the rest of the nay-sayers: edgy for the sake of being edgy.
It's okay if you hold a certain opinion towards something like this. I can respect your opinion. But trying to force it down our throats is obnoxious. By your logic, we as a race should cease celebrating anniversaries and memorials of significant historical events. If that were the case, we would fall victim to the same stupid mistakes over and over again. People remember 9/11 not just to celebrate the dead, but to remind ourselves that we will never let it happen again.
