A lone messenger on horseback bearing a white flag trots down from Suqiu to meet with the Kyrev's military.  He carries a message that reads that Emperor Yong Min-nam challenges the general of Kyrev's army.  If Yong should lose this battle, then the Sunyong forces will lay down their arms and surrender, with no further casualties incurred on either side.  If he should win, the Emperor will surrender himself to the Kyrev people, and asks that his nation's people, culture, and cities be spared.

while they're doing that

An attacking force is organized, and under the support of more artillery, begins to use the weakened defensive structures as their advantage. Military forces converge onto Suqiu's capital, and knowing of the volley guns, continue to utilize their previous tactics to counter their effects. Within urban areas, ruins and other buildings are used as a means to provide safe cover for infantry. Said buildings are also used as routes to get through and around the city, after being knowingly cleared out. That is, however, should the army make it in.

The mercenary force tries its hardest to defend against the Grúzian forces, but are either pinned up against the wall.  After they are, city defense forces suddenly peak over the wall, firing in triple alternating volleys, forcing the Grúzian force into a retreat.

A Georgien (demonym for grúzia's people) gr commander, some of a ways from the actual fighting, receives word of this. The forces are immediately to pull back and around the city. Instead of continuing the pushing assault onto the city, it's instead surrounded. Needing supplies are cut off, and attempts to begin picking off city defenders slowly and carefully are made.

I just don't like that fact that all the bigger nations bully smaller nations with their "sphere of influence lolXDDDDD" which is absolutely handicapped. Then, when that handicapped idea is challenged, the opposition gets beat down so hard by superior technology and the whining from the other side that their bigger armies aren't crushing the smaller nations. There needs to be a balance with NPC nations maybe stopping this bullstuff?

This type of stuff is honestly ruining the RP for me and it really isn't fun anymore when I basically have to suck the fat richard of nations like Romek and Kyrev or be their bitch like Sonodine because if I don't, I will suffer the consequences as Sunyong is now. Don't act like this doesn't happen, because it did. Sunyong was trying to expand his borders to get minerals and Romek got butthurt that he was going into his imaginary sphere and so when Sunyong challenges this handicapped idea, all the other powerful nations attack him. How is that stuff fair?

Don't act like this stuff doesn't happen.

what?  i've been using both mercenaries and a military this entire time?

I've only really seen you using mercenaries in actions against me, usually not involving cities ones. and just because fertile soil is along rivers doesn't mean all your farms are in well defended cities, hell you only have one river and one city along it. you're bound to start having problems, especially with multiple armies coming at you

also you mentioned weapons not being produced anymore and refineries not in use because of interception threat??

Most refineries are in Panguan, but they're not currently in use since it would be silly to be actively producing things like weapons and shipping them since the shipments run the risk of being intercepted.

im talking about stuff like food and other needing resources, i have forces in the countryside after all, and it has no farms?

im pushing into your territory, I don't get how your soldiers are suddenly pursuing and behind me since if I'm already ahead of them they're probably corpses or are ahead of us

No, there are soldiers within Suqiu.

im not talking about suqiu, I'm talking about the war itself lol. you've been using mercenaries extensively

also isn't most of your city's defenses just mercenaries and artillery (most of which is probably getting forgeted up by enemy barrages?)

also no strategic/resourceful positions? sounds like bullstuff really, there has to be something being made outside outside of your city. that is, unless literally everything you make for your country comes from that one city

funfact: mercenaries aren't really as reliable as you may be making them out to be dealing with an entire army(ies)

The forces of Grúzia-Nec continue their assault onto the city, using the Kyrevan artillery support to back them up. The offensives on other areas of Sunyong continue, an attempt to push further into their mainland and occupy strategically resourceful positions.
