Suggestions & Requests / Dropping weapons/tools turns them into physics objects?

It would be pretty cool if when you dropped a weapon or a tool, it would, instead of staying upright, would turn into some kind of tumble object and just flop around as if you tossed it. Would be pretty good for servers where you can find weapons and stuff, instead of finding them all set up on walls or whatever. Just thought it would be a nice touch.

I don't know, they seem pretty great. I haven't played Roblox in a long time, and I expected the shading/lighting to be terrible from what I heard. It seems pretty nice. I know they aren't real shadows, the shading around the bricks, but it still looks great. I just played Doom Caverns by Maelstronomer and he got the cavern to be pitch black in some places, requiring the torch tool in the game. The lighting doesn't look glitchy at all when you have a light out in the pitch black, it seriously looks terrific.
Might just be because I have a decent processor, but I can also see lights far away illuminating things, and a lot of lights don't lag me at all. Not sure what they did or if it's real lighting or some illusion or something, but it looks cool.
They also have some fog distance thing similar to Blockland's I think.

Help / random lag spikes occuring at high brick counts

alright, so for some reason, on my server (i haven't experienced this on my friend's 90k brick server) when i load a somewhat large amount of bricks, it seems i alternate between perfect fps and as if i were looking at hundreds of thousands of bricks at once.
i thought maybe it was shaders doing this, (all of them are available to me, but only minimum does anything for some reason, probably intel) but even with them off, it still does this. it only does this on my server, as far as i can tell, and when the bricks are loaded. after they are cleared, it no longer happens.
my specs -
windows 8, 64 bit
intel core i3-3227u @ 1.90 ghz dual core
intel hd 4000 integrated graphics card
4gb ram
to be honest, blockland sometimes makes my laptop hotter than skyrim.

alright, so i wanted to see if there are any programs in which you could mess around with the effects of your keyboard back light. i know you obviously can't do thing like change colors, but i just wanted to see if there was any software which i could download that could do anything cool with the keyboard on my laptop.

ok, so there is something weird going on. i'm trying to get the glass effect for windows 8. i have heard that it is no longer there, which you can see in this screenshot. i can still change the colors of the bar, but no transparency.
however, once i switch to the earth desktop theme, the bar becomes transparent, and i can see the background through it. i know that my current desktop background from the first image is not too small, because i have tried this with many images. it even happens with other default packs. the only one that does this glass effect is the earth theme, and it does it for every picture in the pack. the automatic coloring doesn't have anything to do with it, it only makes the bar the color that is in the majority of the picture or some other complicated thing, i don't even know.

Off Topic / new laptop

it's an acer aspire V5-571P-6866, it seems like we got a great deal, we bought it for a lot less...i've been playing with it for awhile and it's great, though laptop touch pads and touch screens get annoying...can be easily fixed using a regular mouse, but i think i might sell the laptop online so i can finally upgrade my pc.
the fact that the intel integrated graphics card (intel hd graphics 4000 w/ i3-3227U processor) on it can run blockland minimum shaders is cool lol. every other choice is not grayed out, but when i select them, they look the same as no shaders, so i'm not sure about that. really is a fun laptop, might use it a bit for video/voice chatting since it has a built in webcam with mic and it can record video/take pictures with windows 8 support.
overall, this laptop is better than my desktop. ;-;
not sure what i should do with this laptop, i feel like something will happen to it, so i'm not sure if i should get rid of it before it's too late to make money off of it.
