The key to overcoming depression isn't to become dependent on others, its to be happy with yourself and know who you really are. I can't prove that you don't have actual clinical depression but being sad because you can't pick up chicks is kind of stupid.

I'll vouch for Bubba here. I'm clinically depressed (considered severe actually). Last year, I was dependent on everyone. My best friend who I adored had left me after a fight she started, which tore me up (fight was on valentines day - still messed up from that today somewhat. I'm actually afraid for valentines day this year, because I know what happened on that day last year) That's what I got for being dependent. What it taught me is to not worry about others. And now, my depression has vanished. Be happy with independence, and never depend on someone. Take this as the best piece of advice you will ever hear.

Believe as you will. Sophomore year is just as bad as Freshman. Freshman and Sohomore chicks look to upperclassmen. Upperclass years is when it all happens.

I just don't understand what an woman is. My database returns no values. Nothing on the Internet seems to signify that an women actually exist.

@ResGajin: Freshmen and Sophomore year are the hardest years to date. Most girls will look to the Juniors and Seniors. Plus, 89.09% of the freshmen I meet are awkward in some way.

It seems odd to me that you're getting a car before you can even drive. Money aside. If you crash it, even the smallest damage, your premium is going to be hundreds more. I would have waited.

Also should have been a Jeep.
