Off Topic / How do you reply to people when they ask what the Blockland forums are?

Today while at school I was browsing the forums from my iPad and my friend starts talking to me.
This is how it went down.

Friend:"Hey what is that?" (points at my iPad screen)
Me:"Oh it's just a cool forum that I like to post on"
Friend:"What? What's a forum?..."
Me:"Well, it's like a discussion board for different types of subjects"
Friend:"Hmm well I've never heard of one before" "What's it called?"
Me:"Well its called Blockland forums..."
Friend:"What's Blockland?"
Me:"ehh... It's just a forum for a game"
Friend:"Ah ok... Well whatever."

I asked my other friends at the table and they said they never posted on a forum before.
Wtf...

How do you reply when people ask you what the Blockland forums are?

Warning: If you dislike dubstep/electronic music please do not continue to read this thread.

Constructive criticism is appreciated.

I have been working on some mashup/remixes of different songs for a while and I've finally come to the conclusion that I should make a thread about it.
The issue is that I can't really come up with any more songs to remix without it sounding like stuff, so I need suggestions.
(If the suggestion is bad I will deny it)

Suggestions

- Song 1 (Provide Link)

- Why should I remix this song?
- Is the song dubstep/electronic music? (If it isn't then I won't remix it)

- Why should I remix these songs

Does it? It's always been that way for months, I just like it very neat.
I have server badges because I rate servers based off my opinion.
I have quotes because I can add any quotes I like in my opinion
Lastly I have a (other) section for other things.

I don't understand how it makes my ego look big?

Drama / Glass - "Blockland doesn't mean stuff" (Ranting on Blockland/Forums)

Okay so I was logged onto Skype and Glass messages me about Designer from this topic.

He blames me for ruining Designer's reputation when clearly everybody within the topic agreed that Designer was Glass.
Designer ruined his own reputation for arguing within the topic.
I state how a lot of things point toward Designer being Glass himself.
Such as these posts from other people within the thread who agree on the subject.

I actually knew it because.

-he regestired an account before glass' ban.
-acts like glass
-types like glass
-has his very own email BL email
-knows the ropes of the BL forums right when he joins

Another thing, this is apparently one of Glass's IRL friends, yet:
-The first thing he did was immediately promoted his server.
-The next thing after that was started posting here.
-Every one of his posts about Glass have been extremely positive.
-Their typing patterns are extremely similar.
And here's for the big finish...
-This apparently new player who is an 'IRL friend of Glass', found it was completely necessary to make a completely new e-mail account just to make a new forum account. You would think his e-mail would be something a little, old, something he's enjoyed in the past or one of his old names he's used. No, he comes charging in here with an e-mail that was obviously only used in order to make a new forum account: DesignerBL@Live.com, which is just his username with BL stuck on the end. I don't know anyone who makes new e-mail accounts whenever they join a forum or game unless they're making an alt.

It took 30 seconds to figure this out.

Yes, IPs.

I start to argue on the subject of him being Designer.

(Notice how we are using a lot of cuss words) (It's a pretty aggressive argument)

We continue to argue (quite aggressively) and he basically just continuously insults me saying I have no life and how the community sucks, etc.

I honestly have no more respect for him and I don't think any of you should.

- He is abusive
- He is a known abuser/troll (Moby1997)
- He can't control his anger apparently
- He hosts crappy servers (IMO)

Lastly he thinks people who hang out on the forums have no life.

Drama / Eussorus - Basically admitting to trolling/flaming

I know I've created several topics on Eussorus already but this time it's different.
He could actually be banned. I am not sure.

The topic was about setro2 and him being bipolar.

Well the topic horribly derailed, due mostly to everyone's input.
It was basically derailed on the start of page 2.

and I think everyone in this thread has derailed it.
actually there is no certain person, it was everyone.

We started arguing when he stated this:

It's a fact if everyone agrees that sirherg1's videos are better.

It's not a fact. It's an opinion.

Well the argument went on, very aggressively I do admit.
Then somewhere into the argument:

You obviously didn't know what an opinion was 10 minutes ago because you said that Sirherg1's videos are better than Kazami's, then you said that it was a fact. Which is untrue.

He replies with:

If you didn't relize I was joking.

Oh yes, the classic "Haha! Got you! It was just a joke!" excuse.

After the argument reaches its end:

So you purposely gave me a hard time arguing over it?

I ask why he did it, the whole point in why he did it was.

I have made a lot of topics on Eussorus but it's mainly due to stuff like this, he does this purposely just to get me upset.

I was in the bathroom the other day and I noticed that the hand soap that was there actually had directions on how to use it. It was like, 1: wet hands, 2: apply soap, etc.

Seriously if you need directions on how to use hand soap then you're a moron. Lol.

General Discussion / Whats the difference from an account perma-ban and a IP perma-ban?

Okay this is a very long story but it's confusing because I am not sure if this is right.
Bot was my old account on the forums.

Bot was perma-banned because of rule #5
5. Do not plea for sympathy

I had posted a leaving topic which I didn't even bother to check and left.

I left Blockland for about 7 months and when I finally returned I wasn't banned from my account.
I am guessing that he didn't ban my account because I had actually left.
(Remember this happened around 2010-2011)


A couple of days after my return I was perma-banned.
I was a bit confused because I thought I would have already been banned but I wasn't.
It was literally 2 days after I had returned. I searched for the topic and I had no luck, the topic was deleted as well.

After about a year of just being bored, I decided to browse and check on my old account, Bot.
(At the time you didn't need a key registered to be able to post)

I saw that Bot didn't have a key and it was saying if I would like to register a key for it.
I was surprised and I thought if I registered a key for the banned account that it would unban it or something.
I had even read that old topic about "IP bans lifted" so I thought if I just registered a new key it would be unbanned.
Well, it didn't. I had wasted a key and my own time. I got frustrated.

I emailed Badspot about a month ago about my old account: Bot
I told him that I honestly learned my lesson and it was months ago and if he could unban the account.
He told me that IP bans were lifted. I replied saying that apparently I was still banned.
I guess Badspot got confused because he started telling some different things to do like restart my browser or to delete my cookies from it and stuff.
None of this stuff worked and he eventually asked what the account was. I told him it was Bot and he said that the account was not IP banned but instead account banned. I have no idea what the difference is, does it mean that there is literally no way for it to be unbanned? Even after I registered a new key?

Its a remake from the original intro found here.

I basically got different clips from Blockland trailers and what not and made it into a 24 second intro.
I just really liked the original intro from that series and I decided to make it into Blockland form :P

This game is extremely fun IMO.
Basically you go through 'life' as a randomized character and you have to choose certain paths and things you can do.
Several things can happen from the choices you make such as death, losing/gaining money, losing/gaining health and much more.

Click the image to play the game

Make sure you don't choose the paths however YOU would irl. The character you get to play as is completely randomized and you have to choose the paths based off his skills. If his intelligence is low then you wont try something dangerous.

Post your death/skills/etc here.

I was on http://turntable.fm and I was bored so I clicked the regular image about 7 times and I noticed something strange.
I refreshed the home page and clicked the image only 3 times and look what I found


Its so weird, it can only be done once and if you click it more than 3 times you need to refresh the page to do it again.

(Sorry if I am late but this is the first time I've heard of this.)

I have an offer from my uncle that I dont know if I should take or not.
My uncle has a big house and cats around his house that he feeds (they aren't really his, he just feeds them and they started coming around alot) so now there's like 15 cats that come around often.

He says that he pays the gardener 60 bucks to cut the yard around the whole house which isn't very hard because every Saturday I cut the backyard and frontyard of my own house and I'm use to it.
He is offering me 50 to cut it instead of the gardener every Sunday or something during the summer but he says that there is sometimes cat poop scattered around the yard and he says just to pick it up.

I sure could use a job, I am turning 18 on May 25th and going to start college next year.
Should I take it or find a different job?
