Anybody saying that only the last three digits of the keys were cracked obviously don't understand something very important:
There is no secret formula to solving the sections of a real authentication, however, the first five digits are systematically obtained based on your BL_ID and the rest of the digits are randomly generated.

I am getting a major facepalm every time I see people say that they are fine because they only have the last three digits. No they don't. They have your full key.
Someone decrypted the key.dats because they already knew an authentication that was inside one of them, and obtained the keys. It's not a hard concept to understand.

I can easily say that computermix and his posse have the capability to decrypt keys, and so do other people that are script kiddies.
Probably not MoR. He was only known for DDoS attacks. (as far as I know)

This is a major issue. We need to ban everyone who does this immediately.

I remember someone wrote one in on the Airdrop event mod. Don't remember who it was but it was a whole thing
I remember that too. Almost slipped by a lot of people for a while when it was popular. I forgot who caught it... Was it Badspot?

Destroyer, Port, or Sirdoodle would be my choices.
They all seem to be mostly serious and know what they are talking about when they talk about something.

Bump, didn't get a chance to test today cause I had an exam and another assignment for school xC

Maybe tomorrow.

Nobot, you are just lowering yourself to petty insults and grasping straws for anything to chuck in my general direction.
Petty insults? Lol. I didn't directly insult you or anything, I responded to what you said.

There not being a feature to turn off auto-updating is a significant issue and more developer and advanced user tools are a good thing.
Again, saying that Chrome is bad for that is like saying a car is bad for no cup-holders.
They can easily implement it but nobody cares enough to.

The perfect example to prove my point of you grasping straws for insults. That was in no way directed any way towards you, but you obviously are trying to wrap everything around yourself, to stir up stuff, where there is nothing to stir up.
Weren't you the one trying to 'prove' how Chrome is bad from personal experiences? Seems like you are trying to wrap things around yourself. Comparing chrome to experiences you don't even know are accurate.

I was bringing out very valid points of Chrome not having a feature to disable auto-updating and that Firefox has many more options for advanced users and you attempted to twist them around to be meant as insults towards yourself and belittling valid arguments you can't argue in any sensible way. If you're feeling that insignificant, please talk to your parents about it and don't come arguing online.
Basically what I am trying to say because I'm guessing you don't get it by now:
If you dislike Chrome for a few simple features that easily could be implemented but don't, It doesn't necessarily make the service bad. You're being too biased based from personal experiences with Chrome. I've used Firefox too, and anybody can come in and say how Firefox is bad because Chrome has uniqueness as well compared to it.

"If you're feeling that insignificant, please talk to your parents about it and don't come arguing online." I like how you say I use petty insults when I've never even said anything remotely as petty as this ^

I am speaking from experience. Chrome has never notified me of anything, that aside, it is still unacceptable, for chrome to not have a way to make it default for people to disable automatic updating.
Well your 'experience' is wrong. You should have clarified that instead of talking about something you didn't know.

Is that why you don't use Chrome? Seriously? It's not even a big deal.

There's the issue of bandwidth for some people also.
I've never had this issue at all. I've never heard of anyone having this issue at all either.
Half of those people who complain probably have terrible bandwidth to begin with.

If you know what you're doing, you can get so much more out of Firefox, than Chrome
Gj taking the first portion of what I said and using it as if you just burned me. Even though you said absolutely nothing reliable to back up what you just said.

I'd take a picture of my right-click menu to prove my point, but i do some funky stuff, so i'd rather not.
oooooo~
Your right click menu has better stuff :O!

Chrome is built around letting developers automatically update their add-ons to include anything they can think of without you even knowing it was updated
Developers can update their extensions, but it DOES notify you what they have access to now and what they updated before it launches it. They ask you before-hand if you want to remove it also due to the changes.

Please know what you are talking about before you talk about something. stuff like this confuses people and influences them falsely.

536
Look you even have my gas station, I demand to be let in just for a sneaky peek :D
Fine...
We MAY let you in next time we test, if you are on at that time.

537
Bump, here is some closed beta pictures.
Idk if I should add them to OP but I plan on taking better ones later.
These are only from night time sadly, I'll be taking some more every time we test.

Why would you make it disconnect someone when they die? I understand it if you want to make it more punishing or if you want to make it so others can join when said person dies, but it'll just be a pain to rejoin and ghost the bricks again (even if it's a small brick count).
I think other people have asked this as well, especially testers.
It is important to have people get disconnected when they die because if they didn't they probably would reach the max bricks ghosted (which is 256,000) and it would be really annoying. They would have to leave the server themselves and rejoin time to time. Keep in mind the max bricks on the map is about 280,000 right now. So that is why it's pretty important.
Aaaaand it's really amusing killing someone and knowing they were disconnected. :P
Also bodies stay there even after you disconnect and don't respawn even if the player joins back. Which is a bug, but a positive one.

Tbh though, I think it's easier on the player because it causes less lag if you plan on running the game with shaders. Less bricks ghosted, the better the game runs. Ghosting isn't too bad if you saw the preview video. It takes around 30 seconds. Even in Redway, which is the biggest city.

What may be an issue is that large amounts of cover it gives. You wouldn't even be able to shoot someone without being really close.
Never had this issue. You could say the same issue applies because there are a lot of trees. People won't be able to snipe people very far if they are in forest areas anyways, sorry.
This is why city areas are gonna be the big areas for PvP and forests aren't. In a way, that's actually good.

so whose pee pee do i have to tickle to join the testing
soz no1 allowd :((

Right now only people that I've known for a while/good friends with, and people who helped with the project are allowed in.
You can play when we are ready for open beta.

Question though, will there be some form of map, or will you need to memorize the location of everything?
This is the only map we've got atm

Obnasious is trying to make a pixel one though, but if someone tried to draw it pixel-by-pixel it would take around 65,000 pixels :I
Making a simple map for those interested. Wish me luck on the 65536 pixels I have to hand draw.
Every 32x32 is one pixel. This enables the map to be a snug 256x256, while still holding information.
The pink parts are towns that are not layed out yet, and towns that may be cut from the final product.
Later, I will multiply the image by 10 and add the town names and such to it. This will be after the towns and names are decided, of course.
The map will be updated on this post as I work on it.

9/21/14 8:53 EST - Border and minor water channels mapped.
This is also outdated. He has an updated one, he just hasn't edited his post.
