Anyone else get Kaby Lake?  I got a 7700K and the damn thing hits temps of 85 when stressing, and I'm using water cooling.  Ridiculous.  Never got past 70 on stress tests on my old Haswell which is making me consider delidding my 7700K, maybe Intel's job was subpar.  Anyone got any experience in that?

edit #1: oh and there will be no tax decreases at all, not even reversing the tax increases from the ACA
Well duh.  There was no getting out of paying more.  Healthcare is forgetin expensive, one way would be to perhaps regulate the forgetin industry to not be so ass-backward expensive.

what the forget are you talking about? that's not how medical insurance works at all

countries with free healthcare offer a single-payer system that is subsidized by the government and funded by tax money. the doctors are paid no more or no less than they would in a normal economy. the only part of the economy that actually becomes publicly owned is the part that pays out money for the healthcare. all the doctors and pharmaceutical companies are still 100% private.
Don't bother, most anti-ACA/"Obamacare" people are so ignorant on reality that they're complacent in being convinced that a black guy's health care plan is the work of the devil, even if they do benefit from it anyway.

I'm like 99.9% confident there's no validity to this but is there any credible source on this stuff?  I've seen it blow up over the past 12 hours and I'm deadly curious because I have just about zero time to do that research.

Not even fake news more like completely misinformed assumptions based on a non-alarming article.

I enjoy ASMR but that's some of the weirdest ASMR videos I've seen...  like I had to go to my youtube viewing history and remove them to prevent accidentally getting recommended that whack garbage.  Any kind of roleplays are just kinda weird and too much, usually more done by female ASMRtists to rake in patreon pledges and "personal video" checks.

what about just cause 3 lol
it's got a memory leak or something
I used to have just 8GB but playing that damn game always forced windows to use page files and it got stuttery. so you know wtf I did? I bought two more 8GB sticks. now I can play just cause 3 just fine and I don't even have to close any of my million browser tabs
That's just personal preference then, or up your virtual memory (at the cost of disk space).

"You don't need more than 16GB's of RAM, that is overkill" ~ Thought process from 1-2 years ago

Makes me think I need to get more than 24GB's of quad channel.  It's fast memory but I may just not have enough capacity for even one adobe product...

Also, that 0% disk usage is great
For something like that I'm surprised you don't have 32GB...

someone just told me yesterday that 16 alone is too much and asked if i really need it

i regularly go over 8gb and i dont even do heavy editing
16GB is the perfect amount for gaming comfortably at high settings.  Maybe some seriously heavy games Cities: Skylines (with the amount of mods/assets you can get) would benefit from more than that.

Yes. It's pretty ridiculous, huh?

Code: [Select]
main()
{
    (1 < 0) ? cry() : be_happy();
}

:panda:

True, I have committed a shameful display.  I will go commit sudoku now.

b-u-m-p
anybody who places their semicolons on the next line should BE GASSED AND KILLED, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
SAME GOES FOR ANYBODY WHO PLACES THEIR BRACES ON THE
SAME.
loving.
LINE.
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEE
I can get the semicolons thing but what the forget is wrong with braces on the same line?  You can't tell me that this
Code: [Select]
int main() {
    do_stuff();
    self_destruct();
    if (1 < 0) {
        cry();
    } else {
        be_happy();
    }
}
doesn't look better and saves lines as opposed to this disgusting waste of lines
Code: [Select]
int main()
{
    do_stuff();
    self_destruct();
    if (1 < 0)
    {
        cry();
    }
    else
    {
        be_happy();
    }
}
Absolutely disgusting.  I can understand if a company wants their code to look like that as a standard and people get used to it over time but I'm overly suspicious of people who do it off the bat.

op should use the poll feature more

so we can finally determine which one blf likes best

spaces or tabs
I consider tabs a lot easier just because it gets rid of the potential for spaces to get in the way of indentation.  Even when using shortcuts to increase/decrease indentation sometimes extra spaces get in the way and forget it all up.  At least that's happened more often than not in my experience as opposed to using tabs.  Even though they all turn into spaces it's just not worth it to deal with space characters as opposed to tabs or vice versa, I think the spaces/tabs debate is blown up to be much more than it is.

I am not good at learning programming language online because I get bored really easily , I am only good when a human being actually telling how to do it like a teacher at school, that's why I've asking my dad to sign me up for programming classes instead of sports because I do not like sports, but he hasn't really gotten to it.
I was more or less the same way, kind of still am.  I think to get into it and get your feet wet in programming it's very helpful to learn it in a classroom environment, I feel that to teach yourself things like programming (beyond just punching out lines of Python/Ruby/whatever elementary language and not learning the fundamentals under the hood) and any advanced computer science topic on your own is incredibly difficult.

I'm ordering some books on C++ and Unreal 4, so I think once you get into programming and at least have a core understanding of it, it makes for a much easier time to teach yourself new things.

why the hell did she post it in he first place though
She never posted that herself, she shared it with someone and then it got spread around over time.  Bisjac had a site dedicated to it:
i owned miikasass.com for years lol.

finally gave it up when people stopped caring.

this community is loving falling apart at the seams with everyone after each other all the time and the constant insults and wanting stuff removed just because they don't like it
i just want to see everyone get along and stay in their own little interest groups with their stuff and mingle sometimes but there's too many forgetin starfishs here for that to happen
As if this isn't the norm?  When was the community ever "good" relative to the end times you're talking about?

Can we do a gofundme to restart it
