That only proves you wrong. The only yellow-marked countries I can see are small African nations and China. African nations are self explanatory, but China has over a billion people. It is incredibly difficult for a country like China to be able to consume the same proportional amount of resources per person that the United States consumes (hint we have about 311 million people versus china's 1.3 billion). People stuff their faces all the time in the US while most people in China live on amounts that we would call "barely enough".

And yet healthier food is probably twice that at $6. I don't know exactly for sure but junk food and "processed/unhealthy" foods are generally cheaper than "fresh/organic" foods because of their inexpensive process. For instance my school prices bottled water at $1.50 and a cup of soda (non-refillable) at $1.35.
