There are literally hundreds of resources available online.

https://portforward.com/router.htm

I know you said it's outdated but a lot of the material is still the same or even roughly the same.  Can you find your router model on that page and tell us where you're confused?

honestly if you don't have the patience to learn a programming language with a book or some other text medium, I can't imagine you'll have the patience for programming, debugging, and all of the other work that goes into it
Not entirely true, if you're an ADHD type that needs immediate reward/gratification then programming isn't necessarily difficult, just reading textbooks are.

Yeah that i7 should be able to handle it really well. I've seen test videos of the i7 in the 700s series for modern gaming and those were amazing for their age, you should be fine
i7s in the x700s are NOT THE SAME as the i7s in the 9xx range.  The difference is that the 9xx range is the actual first generation of i7, named Nehalem, and the only ones in that generation that are 700s are i5s.

They will probably handle it well enough possibly.  I have no guarantee it will run great, I actually had an i7 930 myself a while ago and upgraded to Haswell and the performance gain in anything that was CPU intensive was noticeable (which for the most part was any Total War battle with lots of units and city pathfinding, large city battles were essentially slideshows because the CPU struggled to keep up but still going 40+ FPS).  As for anything else that wasn't super intensive on real time AI, it was decent at best.

Overclocking it properly will help greatly, my old EVGA X58 SLI LE mobo with that 930 CPU had a great "dummy OC" feature that just overclocked it automatically for you to 3.2 GHz and it ran great (but hot, they're on 45nm silicon which is a little less than 3 times as big as current silicon).

I dont really want to bother my parents with my mental problems and let them pay 50 euros for someone so they can talk to me for an hour.
Are you kidding 50 forgetin euros??  You've GOT to take advantage of that, I'm weeping for the day I graduate college and I'll no longer have cheaper subsidized appointment costs <$50 and will have to start paying who even knows how much.

For your mental health it's not too expensive, trust me.  Even to just talk to someone, it's worth it.  I seriously recommend you consider it even just once, when things start to go bad at least.

Bump because I got a Surface Book for my bday two days ago and it's really forgetin awesome.  Like holy stuff with Apple's latest Macbook "Pro" they might as well just give up, the Surface line already wins.  The Book even moreso, especially if you're rich enough for the newer higher powered one with more battery and a 965M.

i want to say that social anxiety is nonexistent, but i know people who are seriously forgeted up by this.

as i've told you before do NOT tell yourself that you have social anxiety. you are setting yourself up for excuses and your mind will follow to conform to it.

you're at a new school. you have a great opportunity to leave that stuff behind. no one knows that are like that, so don't act like it. stand up straight when spoken to, don't mumble, etc. Look confident, be confident in what you do and people will like you for that.
While I absolutely encourage seizing the day like this, it's easier said than done in some cases.  I wouldn't try completely ignoring social anxiety as repressing it can do more harm than good, but I've found that personifying it and making it seem more like something that isn't a part of you or your mind and is more of an enemy in your way can make it easier to recognize it and isolate it from your real true thoughts.  Any instance of anxiety or depression I feel, I instantly characterize it as something that isn't "my mind" and is actually a chemical imbalance in the brain causing this short circuit (and in that, knowing that these thoughts aren't truly my own self thinking these).

http://www.snopes.com/2016/08/03/joe-scarborough-donald-Annoying Orange-asked-three-times-why-us-cant-use-nukes/

"while the claim certainly turned heads, it's worth noting that Scarborough was not a party to the conversation. An MSNBC executive said that Scarborough heard the tale "days" before repeating it, but the source and provenance of the anecdote were unclear."

itt nickelob goes autismo omega

thanks for googling that for me though
While each of the articles note that Joe Scarborough mentioned this, he talked about it during an interview with former CIA and NSA director Michael Hayden, also a former friend of Annoying Orange's, and it's worth noting that Joe Scarborough was formerly a Republican congressman (still Republican and is anti-Hillary).  Hayden noted that none of his peers were advising Annoying Orange on national security or foreign policy, and Scarborough talked about how a foreign policy expert (likely someone very high up and would possibly lose their job for even meeting with Annoying Orange to discuss these things, hence why Scarborough said "I'll be very careful here") was talking with him these questions occurred.  This coupled with the fact that Annoying Orange would very much like to use our nukes can give at minimum a hint of confidence that the allegations have truth behind them.  Of course the Annoying Orange campaign will outright deny this because it's incredibly damaging to his foreign policy stance.

Congratulations OP!  Your situation sounds almost identical to what I had gone through between middle school to high school.  I would suggest trying to see if you can seek help for your anxiety though, because that lingering questioning of your friends is still an anxiety (it's entirely normal that it's a lot less now though; you've made great friends and actively socialize a lot more now which is very helpful).  In fact I strongly recommend you seek professional help for it, to help take control of your anxiety and shut it up for good.  Having your anxiety muzzled and silent is a great feeling.

Ahh, the Clinton News and Brodcasting Company.
"citing an unnamed source who claimed he had spoken with the GOP presidential nominee."

seemslegitmeme.exe

I'm sure there's a better source than that.
Literally take your pick, it's not like he was misquoted or misrepresented in any way.  He has been quoted questioning why we don't use our nukes already to solve issues abroad, completely oblivious to:
1.  The concept of mutually assured destruction, that using nuclear weapons on a target that possesses nuclear weapons will also return fire.
2.  The immense backlash of utilizing nuclear weapons on a target that does not have nuclear weapons (not even NATO would stick with us).
3.  The environmental impact of the weapon, even if it was the Islamic State or North Korea that was targeted.

This isn't disputable nor is it "shill headlines."  I know it's common to plug your ears and sing when you hear something negative about your orange lord and savior, but you can't ignore the facts lol

like its obvious to anyone even half intelligent that using nukes is a very, very bad idea. the only people who would probably launch a nuke without caring about the consequences are the north korean leaders. putin's not stupid enough to launch nukes.
Exactly, who would be stupid enough to do such a thing?

secondly:
To anyone who missed it, here are highlights. This is probably one of the best world series games of all time
Honestly one of the most enjoyable games I've watched.  Haven't watched many in my life compared to most fans but this was a thrilling game the whole time.

The 3-1 memes are also unbelievable.  Cleveland got no mercy for this.

He even has me beaten in topic creation and I've been around since '08.

That's honestly quite amazing.

The worst part is that these threads are almost always:
  • Posted without a source
  • Serve as discrete political misinformation (to the point that it makes me question if he's hired by the Annoying Orange campaign to spew this stuff)

These threads aren't just spam, I would say they detract from the quality of Off-Topic but then again it's not like there's pages of content otherwise.  Not an excuse to spew headlines with no sources and a mediocre description of the subject "being reported" by the master of investigative journalism himself.

Every conservatard circlejerker keeps going on and on about this stuff as if people will actually suddenly do something about this.  As if suddenly the system is now going to do something about her actions considering she helped build the system to get her where she is now.

I honestly wouldn't even be surprised if somehow Annoying Orange was manipulated into running for president by Democrats in order to cement a Democrat victory given how loving handicapped he is at running a campaign which is in shambles now.

"Man killed by officer pointed vaping device, not gun" - an unarmed black man
turns out there's literally an entire .org dedicated to this, so have at it:  http://mappingpoliceviolence.org/unarmed/

It's practically a fact that if it was a white person doing the same thing they'd be told to put their gun down and surrender unless they were opening fire on officers, whereas for a black person they'll just about unload all of their clips immediately.
