It's very stupid to use your phone while driving anything, even a bicycle.

I really hope you don't use your phone while driving when you get your license.
if he was calling his mom while driving, presumably alone, it probably means he already has his license.

OP don't be a loving idiot.  don't use your phone while driving, ever.  keep it in your pocket on mute, and only in your pocket.  if it's anywhere else in the car, it may fly out of your reach in the event of an accident.

excuse the near double post but i hadn't read the whole thread in question in it's entirety until now.  it's users like reson that really drastically lower the quality of the forums with all the "lolz having fun!! XD" posts.

heedical's post was also absolutely on target too, holy christ.  i'm quoting it into here because it's beautiful.
it basically is pinned already with all the tards spamming their "my acronym is funny guys look!!" replies. there needs to be a separate board for this crap. the whole half of off-topic is loaded with these 'unofficial stickies' because people feel urged to post so they just dump a bit of their daily stuffposting into spam threads like "change/add a letter to the above post". or they sit in the "i'm desperate to know what others think of me!" threads waiting for someone to rate their avatar/sig/popularity so they can quickly comment again and hear someone else's rating, and repeat.

then the teacher said " I know. It was like a rocket straight up and then crashed with lots of force." She didn't realize what she said, and everyone thought she was talking about boners
seriously how do you even think of boners when you hear someone talking about a rocket going straight up and crashing with lots of force

did you think of boners during the columbia disaster too

The fact that it happened twice means it isn't all that rare.
where is the "only twice" coming from

https://www.google.com/search?q=phones+exploding&oq=phones+exploding&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.1588j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8

there's been like plenty of times where phones exploded
hell lithium ion batteries of all kinds, including in laptops, are printed with clear warnings that they can explode.

I don't get why microsoft don't give you the option to use the new metro thing as a replacement for the desktop background, I would use that.

Unless if you can do that?

This seems pretty neato too

putting this on my laptop asap

i put windows 8 on my laptop recently just for the hell of it, and while i have no issue using the new start menu it's just really only fit for mice and touchscreen use.  using it with a trackpad just doesn't really go well for me.

So, it all started last week. Students (girls most) keep going absent for one day and STAYING absent. They've been absent up to today, and may still be absent tomorrow. They haven't updated any social media websites or responded to my texts. It's creeping me out. They haven't blocked me on those sites either.
why would they

did you like get caught putting cameras in their toilets or something
