Um
You can make the argument of statistics but there are innocent black people who get shot at almost on instinct in some cases (not really the high profile cases you see all over the news, however).

I wouldn't draw much on it.  It's likely a placeholder for the Windows Store so that it acts as a separate game from the new COD.

To those that don't know, North Carolina is about as far north as you can go while still being in the 'south'. I think it's kind of funny that people automatically assume anyone from a 'southern' state like mine is a tribal starfish when, in reality, saying 'monday' in public is a really good way to get hit in the face.
As if.  Many people still insist that Maryland is "a southern state," which is absolutely handicapped considering how literally right in the middle it is.  Yet there's an incredibly diverse political spectrum here; everywhere outside of any urban center (which is mainly Baltimore, DC suburbs, etc.) is conservative while everywhere urban is liberal.  Liberal outnumbers the conservative though, but in the conservative areas it's very likely the same but they will still proudly profess that "if Bros just did less crime they wouldn't be shot at" and "killary is evil vote tramp 2016."

The professor's first mistake was attempting to reason with SJWs.  They can't be reasoned with, that's why they're stereotyped as SJWs; they characteristically refuse to reason or to even acknowledge an opposing viewpoint.  They don't belong in any university environment.

AI is better about warmongering
Thank loving God, even in Civ5 with mods it's like Pocatello decides to declare war on me and I hover over his cities and it says "You'll receive a MAJOR WARMONGERER penalty for capturing this city!" like it isn't justified for attacking the United States.

Wait the majority of Steam Reviews are saying the AI is trash.  If I wanted trash AI I'd just play release day Rome 2.

Anything can happen if the GSW were up 3-1 and the Cavs won :cookieMonster:

Not without serious work on the level of hundreds of hours assuming you know everything about the game engine and hardware interaction.  Anything running will only use as much as it needs of whatever resource, but to reroute data processing is whack.  Plus, calculations are done on CPU or GPU based on which would be better at it.

So what's your guys' consensus?  I've read here and there it's mostly Civ5 with a more confusing layout and districts.

Off Topic / Re: Anyone use Windows 7 still?

You have literally no reason to do this. Win7 is a perfectly fine OS.
And so is Windows 10.  Granted you may not feel the same if Windows 10/its updates have caused crashes and worse, but you can only do so much even with a force like Microsoft with thousands of programmers for thousands of different hardware pieces, it's sorta inevitable but it isn't excusable.

On a broad level, Windows 10 gives you DX12 and a much more capable touch interface for a touch device, as well as general performance and battery life improvements.  Granted this isn't much to really warrant switching, but if you're gaming on Windows 7 still you're doing it wrong unless your GPU doesn't support DX12.

For me personally, I like Win10's UI way more than 8.1's.  I like its search, and how I can just smack the windows and start typing and get near instant results (granted 7 had this, but it was no where near as responsive).  On top of that, Windows 10 AU now also has Bash on Ubuntu on Windows giving Windows users a Bash shell to work in which was super convenient since it came out right as I started my class that uses command line.

rather not run the risks of bricking my computer (knowing my luck) by upgrading my operating system.
sticking with windows 7 until it becomes as useless as windows xp
This won't be long.  You can try sticking out for as long as their support for it will go but I guarantee it will be no where near as long as it was for XP.

Anywhere that has a deal on Civ6?  I don't wanna pay $60 but it seems like Firaxis has a lockdown on only $60 pricetags...

I cringe when I see anything running Windows 7 that isn't an enterprise system for a lab or something.

Jesus Christ how loving more obvious could he be.

Who the hell even has that color test screen play with the tone?

Wanted to share my latest additions to my case which was the power cables you see there with acoustic dampening around the case (not really visible obvs).  I got this case near late August along with the cooler and 1070 because I had a full tower before, but my room is pretty damn small in my apartment so I wanted something a little more modest but still capable of ATX.  All fans are PWM and the CPU never reaches higher than 40C.

I'm thinking of getting RGB LED strip lights and put them underneath the mobo, and have them wired up to an Arduino or something to control the lights for different modes just as a project.  But I'm too busy to actually do it til winter probably.
