Story
Build up your civilization on a Earth-like planet. Or build together with people countries in one world.

Rules

You can't:
- Have vehicles.
- Have laser, super advanced technology stuff or anything that has to do with Aliens.
- Fly out of the planet without jetpack.
- Colonize other planets

You can:
- Build with other people on ONE planet with countries. Make borders, oceans, mountains etc.
- Research technology (takes up two years, aka two weeks)
- Start wars with-in your own world (they last at least five months in Earth 3.0 time)

Only make this planet information post if you have a planet. If not, it will not be approved.

Suggestions & Requests / Turning terrain block in global sphere

We all know Reactor Worker. The one who made the planets map, and yet another blocko planets map. We know that he wanted to do something which was impossible. Reactor Worker wanted to do something with the terrain block. I still don't know what but... since that I found a guy on YouTube and GarageGames that turned a level or terrain block into a global sphere level. Atmosphere effects, water, gravity. Anything you can dream of.

The terrain block is turned into a sphere. It's 30 miles in diameter. He made it in Torque Game Engine, and here is the question: Is this possible to do this in Blockland?

Known problems are that a player fall off. But yet again, Bill Vee has made that the player stays attached to the planet with gravity. If we ever want to make something like this in Blockland, the bricks needs to be rotated with the sphere.

Ideas
Some of you may ask, what do we need with this? The answer is simple: This makes world wars in servers releastic. Now you know that you can conquer the server with your team.

There may also be questions: Isn't the map too big for Blockland? The answer, no. Because you need a lot of freedom in a server with something like that.

More ideas
- Day and Night cycle
- Realistic clouds, water and sky
- Atmosphere color effect during Day and Night cycle
- Rivers
- Animating hurricanes, earthquakes (only on the center of the planet)

Age of Blocko

Age of Blocko is a map based on Badspot's oldest game Age Of Time. Since it is not allowed to port models from Age Of Time into Blockland, as well it doesn't fit in Blockland. I thought of a brilliant idea: Why not rebuilding Age Of Time in Blockland, in Blocko style? Here is some of the progress.

Yes, it aligns with the brick grid.

Seems like Badspot was here to see what he thought of it.

Help / Problems with joining

I recently started planet Terra RP. Until I joined, I received A LOT of punch packets. I have trying everything, disabling UPnP, changing ports, nothing worked.

Yes, this ports work on other games. Since the UPnP came to Blockland, it has screwed up everything. I have nothing else running on port 28000 or 6060.

When I join my server it says "No Matches" in dedicated server log. I also see in the server log "Can't post to Master yet, must auth..."

Also yes, I have rebooted my pc. It has no effect.

Story

In 2000, millions of Blockheads escaped from planet Blocko after it was on ram course with a meteor. They flew for weeks in the universe, seeking for a new world. After an alarm went off, they discovered planet Terra. It was up to the Blockheads to rebuild their greatest nations.

Rules

Please, read this before you enter our Earth 2.0 server.
You can do:
1. Start a war, if you really need to. Contact me before you do.
2. Form alliances. Contact the person you'd like to form an alliance with before you do so.
3. Establish trade routes. See above.
4. Terrorist attacks, covert operations. You don't need permission for these.
5. Whatever you can think of that's not below.
6. Build the borders to make your country.
7. Build roads and connect them to other countries.
8. Ask someone to become a citizen or civilian in a country.

You can't do:
1. Randomly start wars for no reason
2. Use real world leaders to represent your country IE: Riddler, Stalin, Bush, Obama, etc.
3. Have really stupid and handicapped named like "SUPERGUNNATION" or "MINECRAFTLAND". Be creative.
4. Quit a war, it must last a minimum of 5 months (days).
5. No stupid alien technology stuff about super powered weapons, invasions, first contact ect.
6. Enter someone else country, he has permission to kill you.
7. Build vehicles (tanks, helicopters, cars) without factories.
8. Build outside on the repeated terrain. Repeated can be seen in the dark water.

If you country does not follow the rules, it will be suspended and destroyed.

After months of playing in Earth games, that are posted in Community Projects, I came with a new idea. Writing every day is boring, so why not re-make the Terra continents into a Blockland map? For wars, civilizations, empires?

Q: What will be used in the map?
The map will be flat, with some mountains. Covered with snow at the top. The map will have biomes, this will bring a smile to many faces of people.

Q: Will the map have cities?
No, you can build cities for your self.

Q: What biomes are in this map?
Snow regions, tropical regions, etc.

Q: When will you start at it?
Exactly now on 4:46, 15 December 2011 in Dutch time.

He is going too far right now with his "fake" Blockland store.
