I never managed to get up that stupid log pile. (I think, where did the gold  hookshot come from?)

It would have been interesting seeing badspot continue development on this.
Back in 2009 when I started, I fell and died twenty times at the Log Challenge. But you'll learn it fast, just keep trying. After some time you'll swing around and having fun.

There is also a Magic Challenge in my server but it's hard. The magic hook must be picked up fast with E or you will fall off the log.

Age Of Time is a little RPG game made by Eric Hartman back in 2005. The game is an attempt to blend the combat of first person shooters with the character building and leveling aspects of rpg games. The game is designed to be played online with up to 30 other players at once. You play as a female, since male characters were never made, in a map with quests, places to discover and much more. There are two versions of Age Of Time: a v3 server and v29 server. To download and play one of those servers visit the discord for the downloads.










Since November 30th, the winter has arrived in the landscapes of Age Of Time. This map will be changed back to summer style in March 2018. This map can only be seen at Antares' v3 server.





In version 29 you can't craft items anymore. Login with your account on Age Of Time, open up your console by pressing ~ and type:
Code: [Select]
Craft_DownloadMenu("weapons");
Craft_DownloadMenu("clothing");
Craft_DownloadMenu("cloth");
Craft_DownloadMenu("metal");

Go to the Blacksmith and the crafting should work again.

Are you actually trying to build the case for maps with those screenshots?  That map is an ideal situation for building with modter and road bricks and it would look 100x better.  Wait are you trolling?  Your post makes you sound completely serious and I just can't tell anymore. 

And your plan for increasing engagement is to fragment the userbase across two versions of the game?  This is why I can't take anything the community says seriously. 
These are suggestions, why wouldn't it be worth to give it even a try?

In my opinion, all the maps that were created made every server unique. There were servers like: build on a planet, freebuild in slate, clan build servers, DM's in the slopes or many other terrain maps (including GSF San Andreas). This was addicted for most of the people when they were out of fun, they would simple visit another server and make fun there again.

Today when I visit Blockland, a lot of servers are empty and there aren't many people online. Most of the servers I discovered are mostly identical to others, nothing special too.

Something that might make Blockland big again is to re-release a second client on Blockland's site, using version 16 and another name - Blockland Classic. Look to RuneScape, they brought back an old version of RuneScape, and the user base kinda exploded to a new height again. I don't know why Badspot shouldn't try this out, it may be worth it.. even if it was just for a year to see if people really play the old version. I would play for sure, and release my new interior maps I made in the past three years for a Vanilla mod called Blockland Classic Mod.

Bump.

The server crashed yesterday and restarted it. The dedicated server is loading up all the time default-addons and server preferences which made me to stop hosting. I have no idea why the Blockland dedicated server is so weird. I've never experienced this problems with v20 or lower.

Welcome back to Viano City. Viano City used to be a famous map in Blockland five years ago before the terrain and interiors were replaced by the shadows and shader update in 2012. It's almost five years later and people still love this map so much.

Last week I've decided to rebuild Viano City for version 21, using the ModTer bricks and a special modified color set. The desert, military base, buildings and much other stuff still needs to be made. This Viano City will be a little different, but will stay pretty much the same.

FAQ
Q: Will there be easter-eggs?
A: Yes.

Q: Will the airport be longer then it used to be in the original map?
A: Yes. This was always painful for the larger passenger planes to take-off. The airport will also be made more realistic.

Q: Will the original buildings be rebuild?
A: Yes, except one house. The mansion will not return and be replaced by a special villa house.

Q: Can the original road textures be made again using ModTer bricks?
A: This can be done, I will need to figure out how since I never made print bricks.

Q: Can I beta-test?
A: There wont be any beta testers needed since this is made out of bricks.

Q: You were working on GTT Blocko Santos after Viano City was released. Why it was never been finished?
A: Blocko Santos had to be the most ambitious city I've ever made. When Kompressor announced the shadows and shader update in February 2012, I knew that it would be useless to finish the map in time before the update would be released. The map still exits today, but the Torque Constructor files of the map have been lost for ever when I had a HDD crash in 2014.

But yes, I will finish Blocko Santos too in bricks.

Like, games that wouldn't fit in just the game floor. Something like an adventure game or an On-Rails shooter.
I just visited the server again. Yes, I can make the Games Floor bigger to give people more space to build arena's. I am also planning to add default doors at the room floor entrances to the private rooms that will automatically close with-in seconds.

I played some of it, and i really enjoyed it. just 2 questions:

1. Will there be private lots for large-scale games?

2. Are there plans for Infobus trips, or will the doors stay closed for now?
1. What do you mean by large-scale games?
2. Infobus will be sometimes opened next week to discuss interesting subjects and other stuff. For example; the heavier hurricane season that is going on right now.


Guess who I'm gonna dress up as when I get there???
