Automatic tracing things usually mess things up. Use an actual vector-drawing program like Inkscape.

In the first picture they don't seem to be circular and in the second some of the edges look odd, stretched/clipping through each other.

It should redo from the bottom of the stack instead of from the top. It seems to redo the baseplate, then the top-most brick, then down from there.
