We prefer that members not get too involved in political discussions because they often result in flaring tempers and flame wars.

This seems to show the general education level of the community.

Site isn't working for me.
Only available in America.

Yaaaaay discrimination.

The soldier one looks pretty neat if you want a giant collection of identical cannon fodder. Also, Pirate Survival with FISH ON A STICK :cookieMonster:

If you're placing so many Events that you need anything more than the Copy button to do it, you're probably placing too many.

The game also crashes when vehicles slam into things at high speed. Badspot fixed this ages ago, I think.

You agree that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, loveually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material

I was going to highlight the ones in this sentence that were funny, then I realised that 90% of people here have probably done all of them, usually at once.

Modification Help / Re: Armored vehicles

I believe that the addDamageType function lets you specify a different damage ratio for players and vehicles - try fiddling with this to make the Sniper Rifle do about a tenth of the damage against vehicles or enough so it acts exactly like a Gun bullet.

For the main question, try packaging Vehicle::damage and subtracting an amount in the datablock (e.g. vehicleArmorAmount) from each damage, mininum being zero.

View - Zoom - Reset or ctrl + 0. Same thing happened to me a week ago.
Thanks, that worked for me.

Try making the icons in the style of all the other icons in Blockland. Paint a brick light grey and take a picture of it from an angle in the Construct, then edit that. It'll look much better.

Also, what's with all the __MACOSX folders? That's just strange.

General Discussion / Re: Ubuntu vs Xp
« on: December 14, 2008, 11:47:21 AM »
For a server, try a SERVER OS!! Jesus, not that hard to comprehend. Unless you just want a box... Then you can stick whatever stuffty OS you want on it.

If you want low resource use, high stability and compatability, Windows Server 2000 (or 2003) or bust. Dont build a 'server' and use anything other than a server OS.

Ubuntu (Linux) IS a server OS. Practically all of the longest-running, highest-load servers and supercomputers use a Unix OS like Linux. Linux has much lower system requirements than Windows Server (it doesn't even require you to support a GUI, unlike WS) and higher uptimes.

getMinigameFromObject(); does not work on vehicles in LAN servers - it returns -1.

Since you've included the entire neck in that file, rather than just the parts above the body, won't the minifigure actually be a little taller than the one in the game? (Unless it has accessories, but none are included here)
