Everyone can build in Iban's RPG. Place a lot brick. It takes a chunk out of your pay for taxes (a civilian will only be able to afford a small or half lot without going into debt) but you can build things.

Only shopkeepers and Officials can place weapon spawns, though.

The one problem with the city rp servers is that there's nothing to do once you succeed.

In Iban's RPG, I ended up becoming an official after three to four days. By day five, I had a running shop. By the end of the week, I had a running (charged) teleport service between the three cities which had to be built to create enough lots for everyone. Then I had nothing else to do. I was making thousands (25k in bank) and effectively controlled the entire transport service. There was nothing else I could achieve or spend money on, without making more back. Crime and weapons would cause me to be jailed and lose everything, but it had no real interest.

Don't make it completely black. Look at the Gun - it's a very dark grey, but not completely black.

This would most likely require people to download your mod to see the edited names. The name displayed is usually defined by the item datablock, which means that to do it without clientside mods means to create a million new datablocks for every possible name.

Damage someone partially, record player.getDamageLevel();, hit them again and see if the value has changed.

You can join LAN (local area network) servers in Demo mode to easily allow for LAN Parties without having to give a key away. You cannot start them, though. (So you can go to a party with your key, install a lot of copies of Blockland and use your key one one to start a LAN server)

disappear -> 0 makes the brick reappear if you've used the disappear event beforehand. (disappear -> -1 is permenant disappear, but it can be used to stop 'timed' disappearances as well)

You will need a stateScript[#] = "onReload"; line in your weapon image (change # to the reload state) to make it trigger that function. See the "fire" state where it uses onFire, etc.

The bullet speed will be affected by how fast you are moving.

Try strafing sideways and firing the Gun - it fires to the side instead of directly forwards.
