i really like the cover art for mura masas soundtrack to a death album, and think itd make a rly cool tattoo, but i have no clue what the text in the middle says or what plants surround the text. i think they're cotton plants, but i still have no clue what the text in the middle says, and i know some of you know japanese so if you could help me out id really appreciate it :))

i had no idea how to search answers for this on google

Off Topic / camera help (olympus sp-600uz)

i cant find anything about this issue on google, so im asking here to see if anyones encountered what im getting

i have an olympus sp-600uz digital camera, and i would like to control it remotely on my computer. olympus came out with software specifically for this, and im pretty sure for the software to read my camera i have to initialize my camera with my computer

only problem is that my computer cant find the initialization setup. from what ive gathered on help forums, its supposed to be set up with the camera, but for me its not. ive updated my cameras firmware, reinstalled my cameras drivers and everything. yet the problem still persists. this is the error message i get:

EDIT: didnt meant to post yet lol. from the error message its like the setup is supposed to be in the actual camera drive, but its not. the actual drive shows up, but the setup is missing. olympus yields no results. did they just like, skip the 600uz or something? why would it give me the option to initialize if it doesnt even come with the necessary setup?

b4 you're all "but u have a thread 4 ur art" i didnt make this effect with anything digital. i made it with a printed satellite picture of the earth, and i used a desk mounted magnifier. i wrapped the image around the magnifier so it was kind of like looking out of a space submarine window

and i made a short little space video:
dont you hate it when you're cleaning your windows and then...

i kinda thought it was a little realistic looking :) what do you think?

Off Topic / either i was pranked, or i witnessed my brother murder someone via walkie talkie

so a little recap:
yesterday my brother handed me a walkie talkie because he wanted to test a pair he bought recently. my brother has his away from home, and i have mine in my room

today i got home from school to hear the walkie talkie going off. like making call noises and making that certain sound where you can tell someones holding the button down but for some reason not talking. i wasn't really thinking much of it cause my brother eventually did the whole, "1 2 3 testing testing" thing. after that, it was silence for a long while. by the time it started going off again, my brother was gone. he left and took the walkie talkie with him, so i was kinda weirded out by the fact static and that button sound was coming out. no voice, just the button being held down, let go again, static, repeat.

i started to notice voices, and thats what really caught my attention because they were not my brother, or anyone hed be hanging out with. and they weren't really saying anything too stuff was muffled. like it was if someone was struggling to push down on the talk button, would catch it for a second but then forced off, but you could just tell it was two women. almost sounded like they were fighting.

then silence. then some broken sounds.

then, this is my best interpretation of what happened next. (text from the video i recorded of this entire ordeal) cut*- signifying them taking their finger off the talk button

"HELP MEEE -static- EE -static-" cut

"help me... im doing -static- -static-" cut

"inaudible" cut

cut

"ha ha ha ha ha"

"dont fear"

"why wont anyone help me"

Gallery / Sound Mixing in Blockland

hi everyone! so today i thought it would be cool to try and mix a full song within blockland. ive recreated two launchpad like sound boards along with a drum machine (which helps control multiple sounds at once.) so that i can try to recreate this live edit of mine.

its still in the heavy works, and with the lack of automatic tempo and rhythm count its definitely harder to time everything, but i did do a rough intro so you can sorta get the idea of what im trying to do: https://soundcloud.com/m0dm4n/wowe

id also like to apologize for the audio warping in and out a bit. i was playing it while changing through first and third person. more to come!
