hey im just glad they graduated to actually saying the monday word rather than the n word. lets move on from whatever mental gymnastic that was

it's kind of disturbing how much bullstuff happens in this country that doesn't happen in every other 1st world country.
like what?

GSF did not die he just went home. may God be with him now. what an absolute G.

one of my first memories with bl was getting my dad to help me install his vice city map and he had to read through blf to figure it out and he pointed out traders post calling someone a friend and was like, "idk if you should be on this" lol

GSF was a great guy. certified hood classic stuff. rest in peace

The Artist

its a french black and white silent film from 2011 about a super successful silent film actor and his journey transitioning from silent film to talkies. its pretty loving great from what i remember. the lead (jean dujardin) became the first ever french actor to win an oscar because of this movie and its on the "1001 movies you should watch before you die" list

Man Bites Dog

i personally really liked this one. its not well known and is not a famous one by any stretch, but its a belgian blaire-witch-style mockumentary about a serial killer who allows a director and his crew to follow him and document his murders. it had the same kind of production as blaire witch, where it was just a small crew of people, mainly film students, and it was on a budget of like, 33,000 dollars. its very forgeted up and violent but if you like those mockumentary kind of movies then you'll probably like this

City of God

loving love this one. its about gang rivalry in the favelas of rio de janeiro in brazil. this ones really good because they pulled almost all the amateur actors from the actual slums of this place, so most of the acting is either super authentic or not even acting at all. they portray gang confrontation pretty true to form too since a good handful of the actors either were in gangs or used to be in gangs themselves

I remember being in the Teamspeak server while they were making Idiots of Blocklandl (except i didn't have a mic back then...), you might even see me in the video
oh yeah dude i remember. i watched those videos religiously when google video still existed. i reckon that was about a year or two before my time but watching that series made me really wish i had found blockland sooner. the lego vibe with the editor wand and the tail end of what community was left when i did finally play rtb and all that just seemed like a totally different yet familiar blockland.

very thankful i got what i did though. that very first year of retail lives rent free in my mind

i did hear sampapa apparentlys got a family now which makes me happy to hear. kind of weird to think about since i remember watching his rtb videos too. hamburger also apparently lives in finland with a family of his own

ive been thinking about djy1991 and his crew recently. i have it in my mind that the idiots of blockland basically jump started most of the iconic gmod animation everyone loves.

idiots of blockland became idiots of gmod, which inspired the gmod idiot box, which further inspired kitty0706 for stuff like elliot goes to school and team fabulous.

just going back and looking at the credits of the idiots of gmod, alot of those dudes were blockland people:
jordguitar, jsk2003, hamburger, miga, sampapa, frodo091, bacon, and djy obviously.

definitely hoping they're all doing well. i assume life took its toll and they all got busy since icton hasn't done anything in like, 6 years. i wanted to be in the idiots of gmod so badly :(

its gold. all the witnesses on johnnys side have been a-tier. one of my favs was when ambers assistant basically went off about how miserable working for her was the entire time. peak clown world stuff honestly

-what the forget-
maybe start by not living a level 35 lifestyle? you're 22 dude what the forget are you doing owning a house right out of college lol. i mean good on you thats honestly badass, but it sounds like you wont get to enjoy your 20s cause you jumped the gun mega hard and i guess didn't have the financial backbone to really be comfortable with that.

most dudes your age either wont go to college or are just starting, and are living in cheapo apartments they can actually afford every month like me lol. but forget it you're in it now. stick to the grind. so long as you dont forget it up you'll wind up with a way better life than anyone else you'll know. you can have all the fun now and be miserable as an adult or do the miserable adult thing now so you can have all the fun later.

also ditch the "fear of missing out" mentality. it wastes your time, which you have a taj mahal palace amount of at this age, and worrying about what your numb nut peers are up to is just asking for mental torture. these peoples lives may look all sunshine and sparkles on the outside but if i had to guess they're probably more forgeted up than yours is. or it will eventually get to that point
