I walk off towards the bar. It's full of Mercanans. Mercanans who just want to relax. The peace is, or was, or will be, disturbed by the Asethians. From what chatter I can decipher there is some moaning about the Asethians already being unfashionable in the Cantina. It's not unfounded. We drink like rock-fish, and have the temperament of one too, when drunk.

On that note, some day, before I die, I will eat a rock-fish.

When I joke about the interfacing issues the aircraft has, the Requisitions Officer informs me that it's special coaxial takes up a stuffload of power. A, plasma projector?
This aircraft would be perfect for Geary, who I believe was summoned back to NAUC to assist trainees in the art of not dying™.

Jaakko stands in the shower, leaning up against the wall, head resting on his forearm, like a drunk. His mouth is partially open and he's breathing out of it as if he were an idiot. He stands under the cool water and stares at the wall, wondering if he should keep his Rafale, or exchange it for the Corsair. He wonders if it could be true that the Rafale is actually just better than the Corsair, even though the Corsair is a higher requisitions rating. He wonders if the designers have been lynched for making the aircraft damn near impossible to interface with laser, and other ultramodern weapons.
