no don't worry we have more missiles than usual so our guns do the same thing

Glorious MiG-29 only has 150 rounds of cannon ammo, with the GSh-30-1 having a fire rate of 1,500 to 1,700 rpm, there's not much trigger time.

I line up a shot at the column. The trigger depressed easily, and the aircraft shutters lightly with the firing of the gun. I hose down the column. The combined ridiculously low ammo count of the aircraft and the hilariously high fire rate of the GSh-30-1 leaves me with only 2 seconds of burst time left.

The man walks up slowly, he reaches for the handle on the opposite side of the case, before looking down for a second. I draw on him, and he looks up at me, but doesn't raise his gun back up. He flinches and I fire a round at his right shoulder, hoping it will connect and he'll drop the gun.

The Kh-25 gets a solid IR lock on a vehicle at the back of the column. I let it go and return to 1-5's wing.

I put my hands in the air, about shoulder level, slightly above. I kick the case, onto its side, handle facing me. I kick it again, not too hard. It only moves about a foot. How am I going to explain to Sid that I had to shoot a guy to get a case for him?

I start hitting master arms in the roosterpit. The MiG is armed with 3 Kh-25 ATGs, 2 R-77 MRAAMs, and 2 R-73 IRs.

The aircraft does not want to maneuver with the Kh-25's on board. I plan to get rid of them first.

I was about to ask the AWACS for targeting information but everybody starts pestering the stuff out of it with unorganized questions.

Specifically I meant taking over the group of 1-1 to 1-4, not the squadron.

I start up the MiG-29, and join the elephant walk.

"Mjolnir 1-2 Valhalla Tower, proceed to runway 9 via taxi route Charlie, hold short,"

"Mjolnir 1-2 Valhalla Tower, take runway 9, permission to take off, have fun, good luck,"

I throttle up and take off. The aircraft doesn't feel as maneuverable with all the fuel and full weapons loading. I fall on to the newly promoted Captain Obrad's wing.

"Mjolnir 1-2, Mjolnir 1-5, á votre service."

I wake up to the sound of the PA buzzer, followed by the announcement. Rolling out of bed, I begin moving towards the briefing room. When I get there, there are only a few people inside for now. I take a seat and wait.

I put my hand on the Makarov that is holstered on my left hip. I don't think he can see from this angle. Being left handed has it's advantages.

I put the case on the ground at my feet.

I leave the bathroom and snag some food from the mess hall to fill the nagging pit of despair in my stomach. After eating I go back to the barracks and lay on my bunk, dozing off.

I finally hop out of my aircraft. The some sweat has dried and now I can feel the salt on my face. I look into the briefing room, it is dark and empty. I proceed to the bathroom the clean up for the third time today.
