The war, however, still continues and his responsibility on his shoulders prevents him from shutting down. He knows that he owes his squadmates his attention and that slipping could mean the loss of more of his men.

Crash produces the package of amphetamines given to him. He pops another dose out of the packaging and downs them. He beats on his helmet a couple of times and shakes himself out.

Ryde screams in agony as he is shot down, grunting and falling to the ground as his head hits the bar. He just sits there for a while, unconscious.

You gurgling screams are lost to the incessant gunfire. You are not unconscious. The blow to your head has left you concussed and unable to form even the simplest thoughts.

Norum stands and fires a SAB at the SWAT officer, then ducks back down if able.

Norum walks over to the bathroom, "Hey Dan. You're not expecting anyone else, are you?"

"forget off man, forget off! Everything's forgeted, nothing's going to get loving better and I'm going to be forgeted around in loving prison for loving years over this loving bullstuff god loving damnit!"

Norum is compelled to return to his position by the feeling that the cops are near.


You hear shuffling outside and something jostling the door.

"THIS IS THE POLICE, WE ARE COMING THROUGH THE DOOR. GET ON THE GROUND WITH YOUR HANDS ON YOUR HEAD."

Half a second later, the Semiautomatic Police Unit rams the door open. It advances behind a ballistic shield, with a NT-9A drawn and ram slung under its arm.

Second through the door is the SWAT Officer, third is Rhodie Guarda 2.

The SAPU fires first, shooting at Ryde.

Running will result in a chase. They'll have a Semiautonomous Police Unit as a breacher. They're giving Dan the standard drug dealer raid, not the big no-holds-barred drug kingpin one. You will only be outnumbered two to one, but I think the chances are good for you if you prepare properly. If you guys break them I have another job for you, it's going to win the war. I can offer no further technical assistance at this time,' Readback stop."

This is a mockup to Dan's appartment, inhabited by Dan Price, drug dealer, Cactus (cannabis stavia) and Weed (lophophora williamsii).

Thick walls, appliances, and the bar counter provide 6 cover points.

Thin walls, heavy furniture such as the couch and the chair and standing closet provide 4 points of cover, as well as the front door.

All other doors and light furniture count for no bonus points of cover.

Norum also goes and tries to find medical supplies to heal up.

In Dan's apartment there's no shortage of needles and syringes, but it is unknown if they are clean. There is no gauze or identifiable pain medicine. Nevada makes the contents of her medical kit available.

Moving right along.


The three of you return to Dan's apartment. The news that you guys got stuck up and that Elena was killed has makes him beyond anxious. He is twitching pretty violently and having a spaz about not being able to supply his dealers or pay his superiors.

The place is as much of a wreck as Norum and Ryde, although the building and layout are different they understand the the place to be Dan's apartment.

To Nevada, Dan is a scrawny man with shoulder length hair, goatee, and reddened eyes. He wears plad pajama bottoms, a worn, stained and holed ROBOBURGER® Home of the $50 Ready and Hot™ Classic Autoburger™ Combo and a faded beige, stained and cigarette burnt bath robe. His apartment smells like burnt drain cleaner.

Dan grabs a joint and lights it to try to mellow himself out. He takes several huge hits. Something seems off about Dan's arm though, as it looks like its been augmented.

He rests his hand on the table and talks to the group, looking nervously between them and the front door.

"I'll be fine, I'll be fine... You guys might want to patch up,"

Bullets snap and whip around the van.

Ryde sucks in a gulp of air as he spots Elena getting gunned down, and he ducks down under the cover, slipping out his P90, slipping the receiver back to slip a new round into the chamber. He then aims in the general direction of the enemies behind cover and quickly stands up, aiming to the Skinhead and sending a volley of fire in his direction before ducking back down again.

I must stress you be concise with your actions. I'm going to go off what we discussed in the discord.

"Aria is dead. She left some things behind for you in the event of her death."

The figure disappears as soon as it finishes the sentence.
