What's your current build? You should just be able to upgrade the power supply and graphics card for $400 and be able to play any game decently.

Just ordered it today. I was thinking I overpaid for a case but then I realized how drastic of an upgrade it is from my Soprano RS 101 which I've had for over 5 years.

What would you guys recommend for a Gaming Computer Build? It would be fine if it was around 1000-1500.

That would get you an Intel Haswell i7, 16 GB of RAM, a 250GB SSD and 2TB of HDD, and a GTX 770.
When are you planning on buying?

Well I have one hell of a problem.

Audio is none existent. Loading up Sibelius gives a "Audio Engine Error", going into control panel and trying to play a test tone provides an error, and sound just all around doesn't work anywhere ever. Windows Media Player also provides an error when I try listening to music. The sound mixer doesn't show any sound being played if I load a youtube.

Things I tried:
-Rebooting
-Unplugging my speakers (worth a shot)
-Currently scanning for viruses with malwarebytes
-making sure drivers are up to date

Things I will try
-loading in safe mode
-i dunno
-still not sure

Help, please?

Rightclick the little white speaker on the right of your taskbar
Click "Volume control options"
Make sure your speakers have a checkmark next to it

Why's that? The CPU and GPU together are rated at bit over half of 430W.

Also, other than that, is it a decent build?

430W would be fine if your computer could reach 100% efficiency but that kind of efficiency is impossible in today's computing.
It's better to over estimate the power supply than underestimate. Get a 500W PSU and save yourself the trouble when your computer randomly shuts down or bluescreens.
