I don't have a problem with people privately grieving (although they might still want to see a counsellor). I have a problem with the stupid stuff you guys -- most of whom never lost anyone in that attack -- post every anniversary of it.

Call up any counsellor ever and they will tell  you that it's unhealthy to mourn for 10 years.

Why does it bother you so much that people feel a certain way about this?  Why do you feel so inclined to change our minds?  You're not going to.  To think otherwise is arrogant.

Humans are social animals, to think otherwise is ignorant.

"Oh, the rest of the world gets pissed off that we mourn 9/11 so we'd better stop."  No they don't.  Only anti-social ones that feel the need to shout their opinion online do.  I'm willing to bet that you would never have the balls to say something like this in public because you would immediately become a social pariah.  You come off like the rest of the nay-sayers: edgy for the sake of being edgy.

I'd say it out loud and I don't think anyone would give a stuff. I'm not being edgy, this is literally the opinion of most of the world.

It's okay if you hold a certain opinion towards something like this.  I can respect your opinion.  But trying to force it down our throats is obnoxious.  By your logic, we as a race should cease celebrating anniversaries and memorials of significant historical events.  If that were the case, we would fall victim to the same stupid mistakes over and over again.  People remember 9/11 not just to celebrate the dead, but to remind ourselves that we will never let it happen again.

Well the surveillance state you've created in response is enough to ensure it won't happen again at least.

He's not gonna read that. He's like Lord Tony, he just replies with some witty comment.

Oh look, I'm right and you're wrong again.

So my friend, who lost her father in the attack, has a mental disorder?

If she behaves like you guys are, yes.

the majority of people here arent mourning the deaths

just remembering the people who died and the many acts of heroism committed that day
Everyone remembers. We get it. Shut the forget up about it.

Well hey, when were you in control of people telling them to stop mourning about the WTC or else they will go into a mental disorder.

No, if you're still mourning you already have a mental disorder.

Example:
You go to [Someone you cared about]'s grave and mourn,
Next one you go to [Someone]'s grave and just stare and set a flower and walk away.

What the forget? Since when do you get to pass judgement about people's love?

When people mourn, they don't go to a grave, circlejerk, yell about how much they love their relative, and then yell at everyone who tells them to shut up because it's been 10 years and while they're free to mourn quietly it's annoying as stuff when they do it really loud.

Like chef said earlier, this is the day America gets together and cries and it pisses everyone else off.

On a slightly different note,

Did you know that the passangers risked their lives to save everyone else's.
That flight was going to be bombing the Whitehouse, as they suspect.

But if your gonna be a gaint richard face ass hat, and disrespect the dead, just because it happened years ago.

meany poo-poo face! yes I did know that, people do that all the time.

Something tells me that yelling is the only way you are able to get your point across.  You seem pretty pissed off about this whole thing.  Go to 4chan and share your opinion.  At least there you'll have a bunch of other guys who will continuously agree with you.

Well, yelling is the only way to get this particular point through your skull.

Do you love someone who died?

If so, do you mourn them?

If you don't, you don't love them.

IE: Wizzeh doesn't love anyone.

I don't KEEP MOURNING for 10 years. That is considered a PSYCHOLOGICAL DISFUNCTION.

I was in 8th grade World History when we heard the news, drawing a picture of the WTC no less (I had a bit of a nerdy fascination in architecture).

Looks like someone hit a soft spot with Wizzeh.

"Look how unconventional my opinion is!  9/11 is stupid and people who think it was a tragedy are stupid nationalists blah blah blah!"

Seriously, if the only thing you have to say is how remembering the 10 year anniversary is stupid, don't post.  We've all read your opinion many times over and you continue to post the same regurgitated message.  Just stop posting if it bothers you so much.  Ignore it.

Maybe if enough people yell at you enough you'll shut the forget up?

People who are still in the mourning stage 10 years after someone dies are considered to have a mental disorder.

People are social animals and the more other people complain the less likely people will be to be stupid. It's not like it's just me who gets pissed about it.

I'm just going to state the obvious in saying that you can only be unpatriotic towards the US if you're actually an american, which wizzeh isn't. Same goes for a lot of other people. It's just that every year all of america comes together to cry and it's extremely annoying to the rest of the world.

This. Thank you chef.

Well don't complain about it every year, it's probably gonna happen for another 20 years.

I'm going to keep complaining until people shut the forget up.
