Solum would like to ally with The People of Wizzeh.

The People wish to maintain democratic neutrality. They appreciate The Government of Solem's apparent efforts to maintain good relations with other nations, but they maintain that the goal of good relations would be more easily served by neutrality until such time as the possibility of alliance warfare is eliminated.

With this in mind, The People issue an inquiry to all other nations as to whether they would be willing to form a cohesive forum for the governments of nations to gather, discuss important issues, and support peace.

The People have announced that they will begin publishing a quarterly scientific journal. The Journal will be published in Melvin, and will contain the latest research. Anyone can publish or read the journal, although it is in Melvin, so foreigners who can't speak it will have difficulty.

The People have begun research into gene mapping with the eventual goal to map the human genome.

The People have begun an ongoing project to search for habitable star systems using one of Wizzeh's telescope arrays.

The People have begun research into cloning.

The People have begun (long term) research into usable nuclear fusion reactors.

I think it would get confusing for the actual players if months and previously inhabited planets shared a name. A month /seasonal system seems very arbitrary since the seasons were developed when we were still farming crops as our main means of living. I would need to know the orbital and rotation period of Cerio to come up with a better convention.

Do any of you primitives have any form of large-scale telescope?

The People are a heavily research oriented civilization. So yes, we have large scale optical and radio telescopes.

EDIT: Cerio probably does have lots of artificial satellites though, so unless you're intentionally attracting attention it's unlikely we'd notice you.
