Here's the same angle on a darker map with the light changed to a less bright one.
Looks better to me.

Since you said to post pictures & not write essays, here are some pictures:
And for the final one, comparing interior Bedroom to brick Bedroom.
So, the update is for sure being put into the game?
Could someone direct me to the post where he says if killed brick physics will now be accurate across all clients or not? I guess I missed that one. All I know is the lighting will effect them, but could that mean as asked?
With the increased usage of bricks, will the brick limit be raised again? I would see this as sort of a necessity as now we need to create even larger builds to include a built terrain. 512,000 would be the obvious next limit but is it possible to push it further?
Also, I love love love love the update idea, but I was just thinking, and please reply if you can, Kompressor, what will there be of build styles like in the boss battles server? I mean, what's the point of stuff addapting to terrain if there's no terrain? No one will build terrain just so they can addapt to it xD

I like how you tell of kompressor in this video
I am talking about the brick saves in the kitchen MAP
Will this even be optional? I'd like to see how much processing power this consumes.
To be honest a backwards compatibility system that automatically turns off special effects when loading interior or terrain maps would be much more fair.
Removing maps is the best way to make people better in building, it will "force" them to build.
The mapping community can now refocus their creative talents into building, as is the motif of this game.
Figures why my posts against the update were just removed, even though they have valid points.
So, just wondering, exactly what ARE the "little touches" you speak of?
What's a point of releasing a new map when everyone will be too busy playing through the old maps they loved before they can't play them again.
Thank you Kompressor with the response. I respect it.
But we do have a point. I wouldn't find Blockland as fun without terrain maps. I don't mind about interiors.
