On a serious note I'm loving stumped as to why nobody even wants to scrap the hunger mechanic altogether, it does absolutely nothing for the gameplay but annoy everyone and force people to buy food from the cheapest seller.

How about, instead of starving to death, starving slows down your movements so you're a lot more vulvnerable to attack? That way if you're doing stuff like building you won't really have to care for starving, but if you're a cop or a criminal you have to stay fed to not suffer the movement penalty.

The most viable way to do this would be to put all the hats into the player model and use unHideNode instead of images.
Though you have to either replace m.dts or make a player that pulls a file from base/data/shapes/player

Actually I'm pretty sure the game has image skins functionality, though port might know more about that. I'll tell you if I figure anything out

Actually you have to make sounds mono so they're not full-volume regardless of distance, and export as 16bit PCM for lower file size

Another update: I'm possibly going to remake this in the near future as a standalone game, maybe an even more generalised "murder mystery engine" for all multiplayer murder mystery fun times, thoughts?
