Imo grown men who watch a show made for little girls and act proud about it, are asking for people to not like them. That and the "cloppers" are not helping bronies at all. Neither is calling themselves bronies. As soon as you declare a name for yourself like that, you are asking for the bad and the good that comes with it. It is just like WW2, Jews vs national socialists. Do you think they would have been targeted like they were if they were not "jewish" and just human? It is because people feel the need to classify themselves into a group that hatred is brought upon groups.
Making fractions of something that was once whole can create emotions towards others, negative or positive.
Ie: White hating black people. For no valid reason at all.
Or on the reverse, black people hating white people.
Notice how its ok for black people to call eachother monday but once a white person does it, its tribal? What would happen if that term never existed in the first place?
But overall, anyone who is a bronie and acts like the world is ending because someone hates them, needs to grow a pair. There has been tons of groups who are in worse positions than the bronies.
Imo, fanboyism of any kind should be treated like a snake, its okay to have one, just keep it to yourself unless asked about it. You dont just keep showing people and telling people because you like it.
