Apparently Im looking for a movie whose name I forgotten.
All I can remember about it is that a couple scientists prepare a time capsule to open in 200 years and 200 years later people are living underground with noone visiting the surface in awhile and a girl that functions as a mail carrier (Atleast I think) and thats all I can remember.

Why? Some dream I had a few minutes before. Apparently me and my family boarded a rowboat to some seaport a few miles away. When we got there, everything was deserted and made out of bricks. Apparently when we left and entered a brick building, we encountered at least 3 thugs. One fat guy with your standard kitchen knife, and 2 other skinny guys in jackets. One of them slit my dads wrists thrice, as they all did saying "The Economy was already bad enough without you FOREIGNERS" Apparently, when I ran, the fat dude outran me (WHAT) and started hacking away at me with the knife with enough cuts on me to render me a dead person. And then I woke up.

So our English teacher gave the class a Writing assignment that can be done by hand or computer. The assignment: Make a Creative story.
Ive decided to do mine on an Abandoned Village, and the flashback takes up the rest of the story, explaining what happened to get the village that way. I already know how to start off with the Intro. But I need Ideas for the flashback.

Off Topic / VGA Not working.

OK so I recently got my computer hooked up after it came in about 2 days ago, so me and my dad went and bought a VGA Cable for the monitor (W2207H HP Widescreen LCD), so after hooking up the cable properly I turn on the monitor and there was no signal.
I do have a spare monitor but I don't have a VGA to DVI Cable. And Ive been dieing to get back on blockland for the past 3 months.
Oh, and my tower desktop model is an HP Pavilion Elite m9250F if for some reason it helps.

I'm looking for a good bandwidth monitor because of my internet speed.
Why? My Mom uses facebook everyday playing their so-called "Zynga" Online games
that take up so much my slow as forget internet's bandwidth (VVEERRIIZZOONN) and interfere with me and my dads Internet affairs.
So, what happens to be a quality monitor?

Ok so. I start up my computer, it loads, then when the Computer Monitor comes on, I'm greeted with nothing but a black screen, and it doesn't progress on from there. The monitor is on, plugged in, ect.
Is it something serious? Or is it something easily fixable?
