Games / What game is this?

If you dont want to watch the video, you can be either a cop or a mexican gang member, and you shoot eachother. The flashbangs cover your ENTIRE screen, you can't see for stuff, and you can help up your injured teammate. And occasionally, on the mexican side, your player will say "It's the popo!"

Off Topic / Chrome Twitter extension?
« on: August 10, 2011, 01:20:27 AM »
I want an extension for Chrome that tells me when someone tweets.

I only use twitter to know what people I follow are doing (live streaming, uploaded a new video etc)

Though I don't really like to be late for things so I want to know how to stay updated.

Badspot's post:
I like how people's reaction to anyone posting anything is to immediately stuff all over them for whatever reason they can find.

Games / Bodycount - Demo on XBL!
« on: August 03, 2011, 09:37:52 PM »

Made by the developers of Black, a game for the PS2 and original XBOX which was one of the few games of it's time to put an emphasis on destruction.

For you nostalgiacigarettes, it has a lot of features from older games.

What is Bodycount?
Bodycount is a first-person shooter which puts a gun in your hands and lets you loose on missions around the world. Bodycount is designed to be fast, frenzied, and filled with bullets. The developers want to bring the feel of an arcade into the console shooter experience, so expect quick action and even quicker rewards.

Is there a story, or just tons of shooting?
The story of Bodycount is designed to contextualize the action. You're an agent of the Network and you're hunting down Targets. That's really all there is to it. If you want a sweeping narrative that ponders mankind's existence in this deep, dark space, look elsewhere.

What kind of guns do I get?
We don't have a full list of guns now but all the usual suspects will be around, including various types of rifles, shotguns, grenades, and more. As long as it shoots bullets and can take out your Targets, it's probably going to be in Bodycount.

What makes Bodycount special?
Your bullets. The developers want to make your bullets affect everything they hit. You can demolish crates, destroy cover, and tear right through walls; you can even make your own doors by blowing through the environment. Combine this destructive element with Bodycount's overall style and you get a pretty slick concept.

Do I get anything for causing all this chaos?
Yes you do. Every kill in Bodycount earns you Intel. This normal grade Intel can be used to activate upgrades. If you manage to perform a skill kill (headshots, silent kills, etc.) higher-value Intel will be earned. By chaining kills together you'll get an even better reward.

How do I use Intel?
At the bottom of the screen you have access to the OSB (Operative Support Button). You can activate a variety of special upgrades by spending the Intel you've collected. For example, you can gain temporary invulnerability, enhance your weapons with explosive rounds, and even call in an airstrike.

What kind of modes does Bodycount have?
Besides the expected single-player campaign, there's a Bodycount mode that tasks you with replaying stages for higher scores. There is also co-op support and competitive multiplayer.

What's the Bodycount release date?
Bodycount is scheduled to launch this year for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Off Topic / Can someone make this into a wallpaper?
« on: July 28, 2011, 06:34:25 PM »
This picture isn't large enough to fit my screen, and I want it as a wallpaper, however the picture editing programs I have have terrible resizing, and make the image extremely pixel-y. If anyone could do this for me, it would be appreciated.

It says it's a mod for Half Life 2, but can it work with any other source game? I'm downloading it through Steam.

Off Topic / How to get muscles fast.
« on: July 20, 2011, 01:20:22 AM »
As some people might know, working out rips your muscles, and you get stronger when they repair themselves.

Here's how to get muscles extremely easy!

First of all: You will need a knife.

Then, to get strong, you must cut your muscles, then wait for them to repair themselves. Repeat this to get stronger than the strongest man on earth!
