« on: October 11, 2011, 08:15:37 PM »using PEMDAS for a problem is handicapped, itll slow you waaay down. you shouldnt have to think about order of operations. by the time you're in 8th grade at the latest it should be second nature.not sure about you but for me it takes less than a second to think about the order of operations. in your mind things come to you faster than if you write it out or say it personally.

Via Twitter, Daniel “Zh1nt0″ Matros made it clear that Battlerecorder will not be included at release of Battlefield 3. While this is a bit disappointing, it shouldn’t be too much of a worry. DICE Have already stated that they will continue to up date the game with features such as Battlerecorder. With only 2 weeks left till the game releases and the Open Beta feedback to go through, DICE is now on the final stretch to get this game launched to the world on October 25th / 28th, 2011. Here is a quote taken from Kotaku’s interview with Producer Patrick Back about Post-Release Support
“Patching of this game and updating, if it’s Battlelog or the core game, that’s a big, long-term engagement. We really want to stay in the game post-launch. From an economic standpoint, that’s not the cleverest thing to do, but that’s not why we make games. We want to make games that we can be proud of, and releasing a game of this magnitude… it’s quite a big game. We know that we won’t hit 100% at launch. We won’t be able to say “It’s perfect.” Better to release it than to wait another year. Release it, and make sure we follow up on it. We’ve been shipping so many Battlefield games that we know that people will keep playing it. If it’s good enough, they’ll keep playing it.”
Battle recorder and spectator mode are an important feature for the competitive scene as it allows for replays and video commentators to show a match as it happens. In other tweet, Daniel confirmed that you will also only be able to have 1 soldier per account. Despite a few of these features, it’s clear that DICE is working on them and that you can expect to see them in the near future from Battlefield 3′s final release just around the corner.
