I have an idea! Maybe they should get rid of movement in FPS games! Maybe even get rid of projectiles!

I'm not talking about that stuff, you're overreacting. It wouldn't hurt to change who's fighting in an FPS game.

"No-sighting" In real life is fairly easy, (if you can deal with range and recoil.)

News flash pal, there's no crosshair in real life. How will you know where you're shooting?

Yes.

Playing as the US in my opinion gets boring after a while.

Not to mention it's all the same weapons all the time. Modern games? Every single one must include the M4A1 or M16 because america.

WWII games? Always must include the M1 garand and BAR because america.

Needs more variety.

Hopefully this means no more holding your breath while your gun is on a solid surface.

I'm pretty sure putting a sniper rifle on a bipod will, like you said, make it so you don't need to hold your breath.

In previous Battlefield games — virtually all of them — there were select points on maps that featured mounted machine guns for players to use in order to protect an area, but that’s a thing of the past with Battlefield 3. Since most weapons can now feature a bipod, it means they can be mounted on most surfaces and take over the role of the dedicated mounted MG. This is according to DICE’s Alan Kertz.
All Light Machine Guns in Battlefield 3 will have the ability to be mounted on most surfaces with a bipod, and so will most rifles as well (and sniper rifles, for that matter). This leaves the mounted MGs in fixed positions rather useless, but we’ll sure miss them, as they’ve been with the series for a long time. We still have the mounted TOW anti-vehicle missiles in Battlefield 3, though.

We got our hands on the Official Xbox Magazine article on Battlefield 3 for Xbox 360 thanks to RobJN3. Below are some notes from the article. OXM played Operation Metro on the Rush gamemode as well as co-op.

Click left thumbstick to hold your breath
Back button - spots enemies
Frame rate on X360 - 30 FPS
Settings - Iran, Iraq, France, USA and more
"Getting to the Maximum rank in Battlefield 3 is just the beginning. Once you're a Colonel, XP earned will go towards earning Service Stars for individual weapons and gear. Every time you kill a foe, they'll see how many you've earned with each part of your current loadout. The ultimate challenge? Get 100 Service Stars on every item in the game."
