The sniper rifles in BF3 will be able to use only ironsights, so there's no scopes

Killing Floor doesn't do this, the Crossbow is the only scoped weapon but it's pulled up so you can see whats going on and only whats on the scope is magnified.

That's another thing. Your peripheral vision is magnified along with the scope for some reason, implying it even HAS peripheral vision, which is ANOTHER thing about snipers. The area around the scope is just black.

You know that truck in the picture you posted?

In MW2 if you got 2-3 trucklengths away you're nearly impossible to hit with a shotty.
I expect MW3 to be the same.

Which in my opinion is pretty stupid.

Also returning from MW is the G36c, and MP5.
New weapons include the PK Pecheneg, USAS-12, FAD assault Rifle, and CM901.

oh forget automatic shotguns--oh wait i forgot shotguns most likely have limited range.

Updated OP with the first wave of MP information.

Highlights include a list of what the devs were aiming for, announcement of 80 levels (plus a prestige mode,) and the announcement of 28 kill streaks.

there are also gameplay videos out there now. I'm gonna sift through them and post the best.

Also, there appear to be alot of returning weapons from both MW1 and 2, as well as some new weapons. (like the p99)

I watched a few of his videos.  He's really boring and unfunny.

Not to mention he spams this stuff like a vlogaholic.

Seriously, I don't understand how people like him can do this for a hobby when they can do something more interesting, such as playing games without recording and talking into the microphone alone making stuffty jokes.

Please learn the definition of spamming before you use it. In no way is he spamming. He's posting daily gaming videos, with an occasional highlight from one of his let's plays. Doesn't seem like spamming to me.
