Please..... Atheists have many questions, that is why I put that big post. So if you are that ignorant to say screw this, Christians say all this crap, then that's fine, but Don't blame me for answering some athiests questions.

I believe in god (Jesus) not because he brings comfort, which is why a lot of athiests come to the resolution that Christians are woosies therefore hating the thought of god, but because it is hard to gain the concept of a "god". Even the very concept of god is extremely complex, yes their are many different religions, but Christianity is very distinct, let me explain.-

Islam- Based on PHYSICAL things like humans, making swords out of so and so, etc., and it always says it will give rewards of better life in heaven, and virgins, and other wordly things/items.

Hindu- The most basic of all religions, claiming everything is a god. I dont really know how to explain this, but if everything is a god, then nothing is. (Bhuddism is a religion made by a Hindu, so Bhuddism is made by a human, who is not a god.)

Mormons- Believes that all humans are a god and have potential to have a world/civilization of its own if they are nice, and kind to humans during their life. But it makes no sense, because if humans are god, who was FIRST god. Therefore humans are not gods, nor could they become one because it did not start with them.

Christianity- This religion is the most complex of all religions I think. It does not consist of saying how great it is like Islam does (Christian people say it is great, not Jesus, he simply says why it works). And unlike the other religions, It states god is ETERNAL, not made by a human. Eternal- continuing forever or indefinitely.
One of the biggest questions asked by people is "what if scientists find out that life can make itself, or what if it can form almost magically?". Well, Life is not some simple thing made by lightning, or some sudden mass of energy being sent into something, life is not some unknown material called organic material, it is made of iron, protein, etc.Cells convert these things into energy, which scientists can not figure out why or how they do it. The point is is that the breath of life is not given by energy, or proteins, but by some unknown mystery that many find an answer in Christianity/gods.

Being a christian is not easy, You will ALWAYS sin and ALWAYS have temptations, some you will never over come. If humans could overcome these traits, everyone would be a Christian. Jesus is not stupid, nor will he make it easy. And remember that being a Christian does not mean being nice and crap like that, it means making a commitment to love god and believe jesus died on the cross for our sins.

I hope that will clear some misunderstandings of Christianity, and for some of you, it might help you become a christian.
