General Discussion / WALK2222's Crumbling Arena

~ Objective ~

Avoid the platforms as they fall from underneath you
Destroy the platforms under your fellow players
Or
Play as the game maker and change-up the game with the surplus of buttons to play with

~ Gameplay ~

Kill the other players by making them fall
Change how the game is played with the Control Room
Watch other players compete after death with the cameras, or watch from the spectate point!

~ Rules ~

Do not "rage" if you happen to die.  It is a game
Do not ask to be admin
Do not abuse the control room.  If you find a glitch, please report it by PM'ing me
Please respect admins

I just finished editing some photos which I am using for my computer science tutorials, I think they came out really well :)






(Yes, the backgrounds did come from another website, however, they have been touched up by me.  Credit has also been given out)

Off Topic / Many Apple services are down

Many of Apple's services have been down these past few days due to someone finding out a way into their system.  Sadly this means developers cannot test on their iOS devices and ultimately submit to the app store. 

They have however created a handy status page where you can view what parts of their system are currently up.  They claim to have put the iOS Dev Center up (provisioning portals, certificates, etc) although they accidentally set the "accept license agreement" page to a maintenance page :/





This really sucks as I cannot test my applications on physical devices, or even submit them to the App store. 
Discuss Apple's mishap.

Off Topic / Tons of random Microsoft programs?

For some reason I have a lot of programs installed from Microsoft.  Not the default ones, but weird ones like SQL Database Servers and multiple Visual C++ packs.  I do have many IDE's installed that use C++ (and occasionally SQL Databases) but I don't believe I should have this many?  Does anyone know why I have so many of these installed?

Drama / Tango, Frankie, whatever, continuously spamming my phone

So as you know, our ever so wonderful friend "Frankie" on the forums.  Some of you may remember him as Tango, or even Mitchell Franklin. 
I had decided to stop talking to him for many reasons, from annoyance, to general stupidity rather than getting caught up in some dumb drama.  However, apparently that was too much to handle for him.

He has continuously been spamming my phone with stupid emails from fake accounts.  Now, I know that a fake email could be anyone, although I do have some proof to back up my case.   


First we have "Anis Reptar" which many of you know as t0xic on the forums.  Was once a friend of Mitchell, however, he recently stopped being friends with him for other reasons.  Mitchell (or Tango) has now been SMS bombing him also, just like me.

Second we have Mr.  Jelly, Tango has been talking to countless people, trying to "justify his case" and become friends with me again, I was messaged by Mr Jelly, being told that Mitchell was babbling about something having to do with me.  This conversation ensued.

Now, onto the mobile spamming.  I currently only have one picture, as he had started doing it again this morning




Although this is NOT the first time it has happened.  He has spammed constantly from stuff such as "lel" over 1,000 times to other completely random things.  He continuously uses this email or another one.  I have no idea what he is saying when he mentions "someone else do the dirty work and get a proxy bomb", maybe toxic did something and hes mistaking it for me?  I don't know.  Although I do know this amount of immaturity is disgusting and he really just needs to grow up at this point.

Off Topic / Favorite Game Engine?

Whats your favorite game-creation engine?
I personally like Unity, because of the layout and Javascript integration.  However, UDK is amazing graphically and wonderful in tons of other ways too.  The downside is that its hard to just jump into. 

I would choose Unity, as I've developed a lot in there.  But after my game I'm going to try UDK again.

Whats your favorite?

Yes, torque 3D is great too

Off Topic / Windows is forgeted up

The other day I was installing microsofts direct x for steam. My computer randomly shut down when that happened (maybe a power outage I'm not sure). Anyway when I turned it on, it booted with an error screen. Saying there was a problem with windows. It said that I should use the install cd given to me by my computer manufacturer. Sadly my computer has been upgraded a TON and I didn't have the install cd. Also my disk drive is currently broken.

So I created a repair USB with a pc running windows 7 that I have. I plugged in the USB, set bios to boot from that, and everything seemed to be working fine. I waited for the windows repair to finish. Finally after a couple minutes it did. I turned on the computer, set bios to boot normally and the same error code popped up again. I tried again, same result. I tried once more and the windows 7 operating system was GONE.

Now I don't know what to do. I just can't believe that all this loving trouble was caused by that. I don't even know if it was, but this is a huge problem. I am extremely stressed by this and don't know where else to turn.

I really do NOT want to lose all my files, Programs, etc. That would be so horrible.

I'm really sorry but I won't be able to answer replies tonight. I am going to sleep now, it's extremely late. Anyway thanks guys :/
