yes
it's an art program, a bit more basic than photoshop. very useful and my personal choice for artwork. it's not free though last i checked (fairly certain it has a 31-day free trial). the only free programs i know of are paint.net and gimp, but i've never used them for real art work and don't know if they're decent choices

The animators, you can't get smooth lines that from pencil or marker.

the show itself is created using Flash
aka, it's digital

is this what you mean by smooth lines?


because this is just me doing a few lines in paint tool sai with a tablet

What's the best place to draw ponies in style from the show?

i'll assume you meant programs
in which case, most artists use painttool sai or photoshop

there is also illustrator/inkscape, though i'm not sure how one would really "draw" with that type of program

well I tried and got this

if I had more time I'd fix it but just starting up gimp used up most of the time I had before leaving for follow-up thanksgiving

it appears the layers were already optimized, killing the access pieces giving that result lol

Does anyone know what causes this effect so I can fix it?

i assume you're using photoshop, in which case i can't help
however in gimp all you would have to do is add "(replace)" next to each layer name. (example: layer 1 (100ms)(replace))

the only thing i don't understand is what i'm suppose to do in the topic
i'm assuming he wants comfort or ways to handle the situation, and my suggestion would be to leave it alone, but the topic is rather vague. it just seems like blank statement

if i found out someone i knew personally was a furry, or had severely odd special interestes (in my own opinion that is), i wouldn't even bring it up

practice "pulling yourself" away from an argument, without commenting about it too. saying "i'm done with this discussion" and whatnot doesn't really help
distract yourself with other things and forget about it

if it's a tedious and pointless discussion it shouldn't be focused on.

Dunno if I've told you gentlemen, but you should check out Holivi when you have a chance. She is my major inspiration for art and I seriously wish I was as good as she is with color and feel. You've probably seen some of her stuff already.

i see her art on reddit rather frequently
i'm sad to say her artstyle doesn't intrigue me
