I'd suggest you start looking into it now, at least roughly, just so you get an idea of what kind of costs you'll be up against. Generally though, train tickets are much cheaper than airfare.

i'm already doing that
got a rough figure as is, in terms of travel. going to get some assistance with this though as i've never really done something like this before

i'm going to try and take a train just like i attempted last time
though this round i have much more time for planning and searching. i could probably find a more closer station and such, maybe make the trip less expensive

though maybe flying would be less expensive?
i hate flying but hell if it works out better

How do you guys get the drive to do stuff? I haven't done any artwork all week, SAI has just been sitting open on my computer

when i don't have motivation, i find the best way to get back into it is to just pick up the pen and start scribbling

what i find interesting is how deeply people will read into the episode. opinions change after long hours of contemplation.
for example, the intial reaction for Sombre was that he is the worst villain ever. now sombre is the most evil of the antagonists, actually enslaving ponies and all sorts of stuff, and is actually the most badass

show-related: Luna's attitude towards Twilight still bugs me. Ever since the first conversation with Celestia/Luna, I kept getting the feeling that Luna was skeptical of Twilight. There is so little to go on, but I keep thinking it is because she's going to start teaching Twilight. (skeptical of her abilities, not sure if she can handle her tutelage, etc?) Perhaps the book has a level of dark magic, which could later backfire on Twilight? :o

It would be heading in a direction I've been dreaming of. c:
